My brother led me to this place when I was in town visiting. It seemed that the entire far wall of this store was beer coolers, with every beer they had in stock available as singles. I ended up buying about 50 different singles at this place. Lotís of PNW micros and some harder to find big beers. A great store to get what you need if you canít make it up to Portland.
When they say this is going to be a one stop place they mean it. They had it all. If they do not have it really what is left to need? Homebrewing supplies and that was jammed packed and then the 500+ bottles of beer all mostly in singles all for your liking ready for you to give a new home. It was like Christmas. They had a huge section of Belgian beers for you Belgian fans and the local stuff was not missing either. I was able to pick up several bottles that I had never seen and I am sure if I looked at my trusty list I would have found more that where needed. Prices where very comparable other places and the selection was top notch. I had arrived right at closing time they still gave me the time of day and the staff was very knowledgeable. If in need of some great beer in Corvallis and want to take it home they have something up your alley. Hours are tight in the evening so a late run at 9:00pm is going to be out of the question. Get your beer drinking list covered early in your shopping day
Really fun easy places. Homebrewshop/ bottle shop. Loads of beer and some quite rare ones. All in singles. Great service. Ale Apothecary which is hard to find had three bottles there. Excellent bottle shop.
Mail order rating. Made my first mail order in a long time and was really painless. Beer prices are solid though the shipping seems a bit steep. As it stands, excellent selection of beers that I wanted and canít get here. Will definitely consider ordering from here again.
Cool little bottle shop/brew supply. I usually always find a bottle or two here to pick up whether it be something local (OR) or a bottle that has been hanging out on the shelf for a bit. If in town, donít miss it.
Nifty little place in a college town, albeit a bit like a used bookstore. They tend to hold onto bottles a lot longer than in the big city, so thereís often a find or two. Ample selection with a smaller number of beers refridgerated. Worthy of a stop if youíre in the area.
This is seriously one of the best-kept secret in the Willamette Valley. Donít come here if you want "filler" beers. However, if you are looking for great beer and selective bottles, this is the shop to patronize. The staff is well-versed in beer and theyíre a wealth of knowledge about good beer. I love talking to these guys and digging through their shelves for that "gem".
Really impressed with the selection that they carried! Itís like going into a small bookstore full of awesome beers! They keep all there beers warm, except the IPAs, which I absolutely love! The staff was extremely nice and engaging, nice pup lounging around on the floor, just a really cool place. My only complaint would be the smallness of it, but with their selection and amount of great beer like they have, you could get lost looking at the shelves for quite awhile. An awesome place!
A friend found this place and bought some rarer beers. Dropped in and found the Oregon Trail Porter and a number of other beers Iíve not seen in the bottle shops in Portand. Very helpful staff and looks like a really great homebrew store.
Next time Iíll have to go in with a list of equipment and homebrew supplies.
