This place is fantastic. They clearly have the best selection for miles around and by far the most reasonably priced. Recent samplings have included beers from Kernal, Brodies, Flying Dog, Stone Brewing, Oakham, Limestone, Thornbridge, Summer Wine and their selection of Arbor Ales is always superb! The guys that run the place are always happy to help and if you’re after something specific, just ask and they might be able to get it. I already travel across Brum to get here but I’d def travel further. It’s a beer drinkers paradise!

What a fantastic store.Vast range of beers. What impressed me was the stocking of the complete range of bottles from a brewery from the weakest to the most powerful.British craft breweries are very well represented and don’t get me started on the German range. Top up with a few Americans and some excellent Italians and this makes for an excellent store. Perhaps not such an exotic range as Stirchley wines but the prices are more competitive. Great service-great store. Beer lovers please use them so as they can get even better.

This place is my destination for a weekly beer pilgrimage. Excellent range of beers at fantastic prices, friendly and helpful service. Great Twitter presence and always willing to put beers aside until I can make it down. Thanks gents.

Great place with a really good selection of beers which are keenly priced.Many rare and unusual brews appear here throughout the year making it well worth a visit.The guys that run it are eager to please and are always helpful.They will also try to tack down beers on your wishlist for you.With the range they have coming through at the moment and previously it means i’ll never be rich,but,at least i’ll be happy!Give them a try,its well worth a visit.

Hands down must be the best bottle shop in the UK. Amazing selection of the best of the best UK beers, an unusuaully phenomenal American beer selection, and mainland European selection. Very good prices. Extremely friendly staff who are passionate about beer and eager to please you. Such a great place. Absolutely mandatory place to stop.

We (me, Loz, Barry & Lynn) visited here yesterday Sunday 28th April 2013 on way back from a weekend at my mums in Worcester. I have to say that this is probably the best bottle shop that I have been to in the UK. I don’t doubt that the Beers of Europe has a wider and greater selection but for sheer quality and huge choice and fair prices then this wins out for me. Fairly easy to find, we accessed it from the M42, straight up the main A441 heading into Birmingham and when you get into Cotteridge you’ll see it on the left eventually, parking might be an issue but there is a pub car park opposite that you could probably sneak into, the road outside has a single yellow line and parking on a Sunday wasn’t an issue but a weekday or Saturday might be a bit more difficult, though I guess public transport up and down this road would also be very good as I guess you are just 3-4 miles from the centre of town. Beer wise, where do you start? Huge ranges of the following breweries, Brodies, Mikkeller, De Molen, Wild, Thornbridge, Buxton, Evil Twin, Kernel, Partizan, Tiny Rebel etc, etc andf then there were loads of newcomers many that I had never had or hadn’t had that often, Rebel (Cornwall?), Weird Beer and others that I forget. The shop is essentially a large oblong laid out with one central island on one side it is wine on the other is all UK beers, to the left of this central island (looking with you back to the counter) all down that left hand side is Foreign beers starting with US beers, moving onto Danish before then Belgian, Dutch, French and others. Some of the more expensive American beers along with some rare Brewdog and the odd Belgian offering are near the counter. The brothers who run this shop Cal and Jaz (I think they were called) were really friendly and we chatted for some time about who, how and where they get beers from. I was hugely impressed with this place and the friendliness and helpfulness of the brothers, I can see this becoming a regular stop off both going to or returning from my mums.

Time for an update really. These guys have upped their game considerably. They have a phenomenal range and the prices are excellent. They don’t necessarily have the beer knowledge but they are major enthusiasts and very keen to please. Always a pleasure to visit, their range is always increasing.

Large selection of British,Continental and North American beers. Very keen pricing - most 500ml bottles at £2 or £2.50, even quite strong ones. Many bottle-conditioned ales. Proprietors will try and get you a beer if it is not stocked. A great place.
