I would rate higher, except I feel odd when I have any connection to a place - though ultimately I should not as Tom & crew know well enough to stoke the place with admirable beers (and my friend had the odd and oft unattainable in the U.S. ) Friendly enough that my friend got info on going to Rough Trade Records from a guy that had dropped in for a beer. The house Pale Ale stood up.

A nice good sized pub with a large bar. Built for geeks with impressive service, tap list, bottle list and 1/3 pints. Bottle selection is insane, but so are prices, a must.

No.1 pub in London as stated on rate beer! Superb pub, staff here want you to enjoy your beer, quality cellarmanship, try before you buy on all beers, air conditioned, great atmosphere early afternoon, very busy after 5 Mon-Fri. Hand made scotch eggs and Mr Barricks pork pies available. A TOTAL must if in the city

Visited Monday late lunch with family - minors was allowed. Next Underground station is Farringdon just 10 min away, there are busstops closer. Great selection of local beers, and s Swedish one... Smallest sample is 1/2 a pint - no flights ! Bottles are to expensive - so try to find s bottle shop for those kind of deals. Laidback atmospher, friendly staff, Toiletts seemed to work - no one in the family conplained;). Thx to the mgr (I suspect) we went to the best Indian in London Tayyabs - me and my wifes best Indian experiance ever.

Nice place, warm colors, big windows, no tvís, like how they cordon of a section of the street to stand in. Service was real good in my three visits, though to be fair only on e were the hopping, I happened to stop by on a Sunday night, which is quiet overall in this part of town, and the other was when the World Cup was on and since they donít have tvís people went elsewhere for the game. Real god selection. Good mix of keg and cask, lots of English brewers and other imports. They offer bar snacks, scotch egg, sausage roll (I think) not made in house as far as I know. Prices good for what they are offering. Just great place to go, helped that it was a half mile from my hotel.

Visited once and had only limited time, but I really liked it even when it was quite empty at lunch time. Service was excellent and selection ever rotating real ales and other tap goodies. Food is not served (just some snacks) but lots of good food places around. Certainly a place to visit while in London.

Visited on our recent trip through London. Part of a new movement of craft beer bars in the London area with 5 locations across London and growing. Great selection of beers, great service and prices. We were able to try numerous beers before purchasing either a half or full pour. Great locations for all of their bars and would highly recommend for those seeking a larger variety than your typical british bitter or ESB. World class selection, location, service and prices. Highly recommend visiting any of their locations while in London.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon, just as it seemed a bit of a lunchtime crowd were on their way out, leaving myself and the Missus, and maybe half a dozen others. As expected, a great selection, although on this visit, the vast majority of the keg beers were all big hitters, as far as ABV went. Of the beer I had (three out of four being the aforementioned big hitters!), all were in faultless nick. Oversized glasses, too. Friendly, efficient staff. I do think the opportunity to buy beer in third of a pint measures, would be an improvement, but nevertheless, I very much enjoyed my first CBCo visit.
