Being the number one bar in London, this was the first place we headed to with our American friends who were in London at the same time. The place is like an empty box, a couple of tables and stools, a bar, a mirror, that’s it. No cosiness, no soul. It does have character. The character of spilled beer from last night that hasn’t been cleaned up. Pretty dirty. Cask selection was ok, but not mind blowing, same with the tap list. Someone below states it has the best selection in London, I dare this guy to go to Euston tap. :p The waiters at the bar were friendly but not overly interested in a Belgian and an American beer geek visiting their bar. Oh well, their loss. Next pub, please!

The selection is probably the best you will find in London, but the staff are quite rude and not at all helpful. With the amount of beers they stock, it should be expected that people will ask questions. Worth checking out purely based on the selection but not a pub I’m eager to return to.

Nice place with a huge selection of beers from both the UK and abroad. They only serve microwave pies for food. Friendly service, but the place is quite popular, so dont expect time to chat about beers with them.

What a range! Gets busy, but you dont mind when you have so much to choose from. If you are in the city, worth a visit.

Great place. Has lots of beers on tap and the variety was good, had lots of bottles too but didn’t get to those. Bar staff were helpful in giving us recommendations and samples as we were unfamiliar with a lot of the small brewers. Prices seemed reasonable (but I am from Australia so all UK beer seems cheap).
The place is full of suits and there was one group that was loud and annoying but most people there were just enjoying the beer so the atmosphere was fine.

Awesome hole in the wall in London. Went on a Thursday night and there was a good amount of ’after work’ crowd (IE; literally people in their work attire getting business after hours). Impressive selection on draft and cask. The only thing that is holding this place back is the fact that beer is sold in two quantities huge or somewhat huge. People don’t need to drink a half imperial pint of Kolval.. But, considering it’s England this place is awesome and I’ll come back every time I am in "the City".

Without doubt one of the best tap selections in Europe, with a nice mix of British and imported beers. Frist time i have seen Fyr & Flamme and Bestefar from Haandbryggeriet (or Haand as it was called) on tap outside of Norway (at half the price). As expected the place was busy on a friday night, but we were able to secure a couple of seats in the rather bland upstairs lounge.

Clearly a fantastic beer bar, with a range unparallelled in the UK. You could easily spend all day here. The only difficulty is knowing what to try first, second, third etc.
