Awesome hole in the wall in London. Went on a Thursday night and there was a good amount of íafter workí crowd (IE; literally people in their work attire getting business after hours). Impressive selection on draft and cask. The only thing that is holding this place back is the fact that beer is sold in two quantities huge or somewhat huge. People donít need to drink a half imperial pint of Kolval.. But, considering itís England this place is awesome and Iíll come back every time I am in "the City".

Nice pub with a very good selection of local and international specialites, both on tap and bottle. Quite crowded but nice atmosphere and friedly staff.

Without doubt one of the best tap selections in Europe, with a nice mix of British and imported beers. Frist time i have seen Fyr & Flamme and Bestefar from Haandbryggeriet (or Haand as it was called) on tap outside of Norway (at half the price). As expected the place was busy on a friday night, but we were able to secure a couple of seats in the rather bland upstairs lounge.

Clearly a fantastic beer bar, with a range unparallelled in the UK. You could easily spend all day here. The only difficulty is knowing what to try first, second, third etc.

Great selection of craft and handpumped beers. Loved the Mikkeller beers on tap, the stout I tried was amazing.

This is THE bar for beer lovers. I am fortunate in that I live literally 1 min away from the place and I canít get enough of the place. The staff are well informed about whatís on sale and will assist in helping a punter choose a beer that suits their palate if not educated themselves on craft beers etc Much better than itís previous incarnation the Clock House.
CBC can get busy in the evening. Not over priced either as there are some reasonably priced beers but one can splurge if desired.. But hey when the beer is that good Iím not complaining.

Great pub/beer bar, fairly centrally located in Clerkenwell. The street level bar is dominated by the huge bar, packed with taps and hand pumps, while there are a couple of smaller rooms with additional seating upstairs. Beer selection is awesome: 16 hand pumps with ever changing real ales from high class small brewers from across the UK, another 21 taps with keg beers from the likes of Mikkeller (and other Danes), NŲgne ÷, Stillwater, Southern Tier and lots of other high quality brewers. And of course, thereís the bottled beer list ... quite pricey, but only top quality (and coming from Sweden, Iím used to worse in terms of prices). Food: no meals, but some nibbles are available. The only draw-back would be the fact that it almost always seems to be packed with people (inside and outside), meaning you might have to wait to be served, even though service is friendly and efficient. Donít be surprised to meet other ratebeerians and fellow beer geeks. All in all, Tom and the crew are making a hell of a job here. Keep it up. Iíll be back.
