I went there at a bad time for me. I really must revisit when my headís straight. It was so full I found this desperately noisy and claustrophibic, and just wanted to escape, no matter how beautiful the ceiling is. Upstairs was much better, though. Mindblowing selection of beers for the UK.. The Cad having his finger on the pulse will ensure this will be right at the pinacle of the UK beer scene. I found the prices very high, making Finland look cheap, but maybe I was misreading the signs, so leaving that score field blank until I have double-checked on a return visit.

This place was def. one of my best experiences in Lodon. Giant selection of FRESH casks and ciders (Crouch Vale, Moor, Thornbridge, etc.) and lots of interesting foreign beers both on draught and bottles. Quick service and fairly priced. Dope.

My new favorite beer place in the world (yes, Volo, Coleís and Blue Monk, I still love you) - incredible ambience, variety, quality - Alesmith bottles, FFS!!! - so many cask and keg taps, helpful staff - Tom is doing an amazing job, I felt at home right away - if you go to London, get your butt here ASAP - blew me away. I will be going back at least twice more during my current trip.

What a pub. I cannot fault this place. The staff know their stuff, Tom knows more than you could ever imagine about beer. The selection is superb, a shedload of rare brews, a bar full of Mikkeller taps, a heap of casks. The house lager is unspeakably fantastic, the house ale is brilliant. Itís a bit pricey, but itís London. The selection on tap is unrivalled, youíll get what you pay for really in the bottle selection. The environment is superb, light and airy feel. I just canít deal with this place. Definitely the best place in London, definitely the best place in the UK. Thatís not a title Iím going to give lightly. Iíll just finish with a WOW. Blown away.

Modern yet rustic pub with a great selection. Very nice and helpful staff, which let me try small samples of many of the draft and cask ales vailable. The only disadvantage was the limited food menu.

Great selection of foreign beers on tap and bottles (lots of Danish like Mikkeller). Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good location, not too long walk from the Tube. Food available was pies, nuts and crisps. might change in the future since the place seems to be quite new. Definately recommended for anyone looking for a pub to visit in London.

From the people who brought you CASK Pub & Kitchen. Itís already one up from the CASK and Euston Tap for being in a proper public house building. Inside the decor is a minimal take on the traditional pub, but amazingly has an original mirrored ceiling from the original pub fittings. Beer list is amazing. Rows of cask and keg pulls across the bar and literally hundreds of bottles, including rarities that you usually just do not get in the UK, even at the Tap or CASK. Atmosphere is also great. Was full on the Sat I attended and also included plenty of women which is always a bonus at a venue for beer nerds like myself. Attractive barmaids and a manager who knows his stuff. What more could a guy want.

Terrific new pub in Clerkenwell. Sixteen handpumps - including 1 regular house beer, a very drinkable pale brewed by Kent Brewery and a cider - and 21 keg pumps for beers around the world. The cask beers have been consistently superb when Iíve visited and the kegs have been amazing!! It does get busy but service is always very good. Fantastic!

Exceptional addition to Londonís blossoming craft beer scene that will be very difficult to follow. Martin, Tom and the team got everything right before opening: their attention to detail has really paid off. Tomís lgendary cellarmanship means that ordering from any of the 16 hand pumps is never a gamble (rare in London pubs). As far as food goes, the simple snacks do the job of letting you spend more valuable drinking time enjoying the liquid bread, however: it is worth noting that there is a very good value take away pizza joint a few doors away if you are really hungry or the pub has sold out. Not the cheapest pint in London, but still excellent value due to the guaranteed quality. Competing pubs and bars will have to raise their game in future.

Probably THE place in London. Huge selection on tap and bottles, lively atmosphere, if itís get to crowded downstairs, take the stairway to the first floor and cool down in the relaxing lounge. Also good for some bird spotting as well!
