The culmination of my day spent pub-crawling around London and I was probably a bit too far gone when I actually got here. Managed to have a lovely few hours with several of the London crew while I was in though. A lovely, bright spot with a very long bar dominating one side of the bar and some smaller tables scattered throughout the floor space. Very high-ceilinged which helps to keep it feeling open, especially since it seems to be quite a popular spot. Tom was good enough to show me through the cellar as well which was as ramajammed with beery goodness as any I’ve ever seen before. The best bottle selection I’ve seen in London (or really, almost anywhere) and a fantastic selection of keg and cask beers. This will definitely be on my return list when I’m back in London - truly world-class!

Easily one of the best pubs in London, and many would say THE best. The range of beers is without peer. The place itself is quite lovely. The staff knows their stuff and the manager rocks! A lot of the beers are on the pricey side (cask ales start at £3.40) but it comes with the territory, I suppose. For me this pub is top three in London.

A welcome new addition to the burgeoning London beer scene, the Craft Beer Co. is an old fashioned street corner pub which has been knocked through although it retains some of its original features such as the magnificent hexagonal mirror panelled ceiling. It was very busy when we visited on a Saturday evening during the RBESG and no wonder as the beer range is superb and the service excellent. It was the first time I’d seen Tom in his new role as manager of the pub. He was in his element and doing a great job. (Visited 6 August 2011).

Have popped by once a month or so since it opened in summer ’11. Great selection on both tap and cask, backed up by a solid bottle range. Staff always knowledgeable and friendly. Cask ales are micro breweries from around the UK, tap will be a mix of Scando’s, US, UK and the odd Eureopean offering. Food is limited to pork pies and scotch eggs. Decent artisanal examples but I wish they would do a little more in the way of food to help soak up the beery goodness! (I understand the kitchen was sacrificed for the gents on ground level). Food rating reflects choice, not quality! My last visit was on 11/08/12 and I sampled beers from Kernel, Westbrook, southern Tier and Farmers Cabinet on tap and a Fyne Ales on cask. Look up at the ceiling downstairs and wave! I must have been here half a dozen times before I did!

We (me and Loz) visited here on 23rd July 2011 at Tom and Ian’s birthday bash. I have to say this is one cracking little venue, the bar probably runs two thirds of the length of the pub and is jam packed with handpumps and taps I never counted them all but it would be a brave man indeed who even tries to tackle all of the handpump selection, something like thirteen I think/ The service was superb, staff going to great measures to deliver your beer to you with a smile, ensuring the glass was spotless (no drips down the side) in fact just everything about the service was great, I couldn’t fault it at all. The beer selection was superb, you really need to do a two nighter before you could really say that you’ve made a dent in the selection, I hadn’t even the time to look at the bottled beers but something tells me that the selection of those will be stellar. Great building with a quite some history and as Mes informed me was quite close to some heavy Lufftwaffe bombing in WWII which explained the slight jauntiness of some of the windows apparently. In short this is the new must go to place in London and probably leapfrogs very high up on my favourite places as well with a score like this.

Not much more to add. Great place. Lots of US bottles that are not easy to find. Great lineup of cask ales. Tons of Euro Craft beers from keg, draught lambic...Easily the best selection I have seen in the UK.

No doubt, the best beer bar I have ever been to in London. It’s quite a thrill to walk into this street corner pub and see the great line-up of pump clips displaying 16 cask ales followed by some very interesting keg beers, and added by hundreds of bottles in the printed beer menu. What a great place to be, comfortable and relaxing. Exquisite hosting from Tom and the young barman. During a few splendid drinking hours I had five cask ales, one from keg (house lager from Mikkeller), and shared three bottles. All the beers were in perfect condition and were served at a fine drinking temperature. Great music, not too loud American grunge, that was to my liking. I came alone on an early Monday afternoon, but was soon joined by other ratebeerians like Miksu, hanniku, oh6gdx and DJMonarch. Thanks for the great time, guys. (Visited, 1st August 2011).

Best range of beers around. Big rank of handpumps dispensing ever-changing top notch UK beers. Keg beers, often esoteric imports, that you will not find anywhere else in London, except maybe the Cask. Massive choice of bottles but I rarely get tot hose. Great staff (and management). Prices are reasonable, particularly for the cask beers. Keg beers can be pricey but you have to be prepared to pay a bit extra for this stuff. LImited food. Can get crowded, especially after work on Fridays. Unmissable.

This place was def. one of my best experiences in Lodon. Giant selection of FRESH casks and ciders (Crouch Vale, Moor, Thornbridge, etc.) and lots of interesting foreign beers both on draught and bottles. Quick service and fairly priced. Dope.
