100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20 RoyceH (32) Hesperange, Luxembourg | August 10, 2011 What a pub. I cannot fault this place. The staff know their stuff, Tom knows more than you could ever imagine about beer. The selection is superb, a shedload of rare brews, a bar full of Mikkeller taps, a heap of casks. The house lager is unspeakably fantastic, the house ale is brilliant. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s London. The selection on tap is unrivalled, you’ll get what you pay for really in the bottle selection. The environment is superb, light and airy feel. I just can’t deal with this place. Definitely the best place in London, definitely the best place in the UK. That’s not a title I’m going to give lightly. I’ll just finish with a WOW. Blown away. | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 giardinobirra (25) , Italy | August 7, 2011 Maybe the only one I could visit with enough time, good draft beers and a very good selection of beers. I was really surpised because I did’nt expect this in England. | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20 NarkeBoy22 (38) , England | July 10, 2011 Absolutely incredible place. Without a shadow of a doubt, the finest range of beers available in the UK and one of the best in all of Europe. It may just have opened but it is top class and worthy of all the attention and plaudits its been earning.
Seeing the range of beers it has available is actually breathtaking, its raises the bar so high, you wonder just how can it be beaten!
Not only does it have an amazing selection of beers but the actual venue is fantastic. A beautiful ground floor traditional bar and a very elegant and modern first floor lounge perfect for parties and meeting groups of friends.
Super friendly staff and management, a big plus too...
An instant classic... | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 20/20 JohnRMurdoch (244) Glasgow, Scotland | April 15, 2012 A new beer bar in Central London. Small corner bar with traditional styling. Has a amazing selection of cask, keg & bottled beers. Similar to the Euston Tap but more spacious and better surroundings. Good service. The best beer venue in London. | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20 isabitrunk (2) London, England | January 29, 2012| Updated April 28, 2012 This is THE bar for beer lovers. I am fortunate in that I live literally 1 min away from the place and I can’t get enough of the place. The staff are well informed about what’s on sale and will assist in helping a punter choose a beer that suits their palate if not educated themselves on craft beers etc Much better than it’s previous incarnation the Clock House.
CBC can get busy in the evening. Not over priced either as there are some reasonably priced beers but one can splurge if desired.. But hey when the beer is that good I’m not complaining. | 98 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 Pubman79 (14) London, England | September 21, 2011| Updated April 28, 2012 Excellent Pub | 98 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20 highoctane (11) Oxford, England | September 27, 2011| Updated April 28, 2012 Thus far, The Craft Beer Co has proven itself everything a beer lover (note: not necessarily just a cask ale lover) could ask for. Tons of fantastic options, both cask and keg, at what I would consider reasonable prices for the area.
But what makes the bar great, besides the great selection, and separates it from many other pubs in England, is that when you start rattling off names of beers or tasting notes you are looking for, the folks behind the bar don’t give you a funny look and are generally quite knowledgeable and helpful. I find this just as important and welcome as the selection itself.
Slightly embarrassingly, I have been to many of Ratebeer’s top rated beer places, and this one will be on that list very soon. | 98 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 HenrikO (10) London, England | June 7, 2012 This is simply THE beer bar in London; if you only have one day, this is where you should go. Constantly rotating selection of the best British brewers (often with special focus on particular breweries, offering several or all of their beers, including special limited releases) as well as plenty of internationals, e.g. Mikkeller, Evil Twin, Haandbryggeriet, Boon, Southern Tier, Clown Shoes etc. Bottle selection also second to none with many rare finds possible. Staff is always knowledgeable and efficient, even at peak times. Love the ambience in that you are surrounded by beer geeks so can easily strike up a conversation with anyone.
Plus, it’s my local ;-) | 98 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 thepeter (22) London, England | August 7, 2011| Updated August 29, 2012 The Craft is an amazing place on all accounts. It walks the line between new, hip and classic pub in a way that no other place in London can pull off. Service has been nothing less than excellent the few times I have been in, whether crowded not as crowded. With almost 350 beers available and an ever rotating draft/cask selection it’s never an issue finding the beer you want. While it is a bit pricy, we are in the center of London and we are talking about some of the best beers in the Friggin’ WORLD!! This s not the best "NEW" pub in London. . . It is the BEST PUB in London. Full Stop! | 98 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 20/20 russss (2) , England | August 7, 2011| Updated August 29, 2012 Tremendous place - it’s often full but the service is excellent. Not to mention, of course the selection of beers. |
