37 aixetes de pur plaer! Per tornar-se boig. Ambient molt “cool”, local de moda. Pel meu gust una mica massa “pijo” però la selecció fa que te’n oblidis. Molt recomenable.

Lots of great beers both on bottle and tap, both American, different European and from the new wave of British craft brewers. Very friendly staff as well.

This place trades on its selection of ’different’ beers. Outside of that, it is a bit mediocre. The service was knowledgeable and friendly enough, and we managed to get a set at a busy time. The beer was superb, you cannot deny that. However, this is a top-end type place, not the place for a session - either because the beer is to strong or too expensive. Check out the prices on the bottle menu to see how ’wine-bar’ beer drinking has now become in some places. However, for a nice place to sample one or two, this is as good as it gets.

This place has an amazing draft and bottle selection. The bar has been converted from a traditional London pub to a more modern ale geek bar, ideally suited to craft beer drinkers! The staff are super friendly and helpful. This place fully deserves it’s high rating on so many levels and I love coming here. If you are visiting London and like beer, this place has to be on your list of must visit places!

Wow. London has come quite a way with beer. I was very impressed with this bar, in the middle of the market area of Hatton Garden. Interior is quite upscale and the tap selection is great. Strange that there wasn’t an overview anywhere of the beers on tap/cask but since it was very quiet this wasn’t an issue. Very impressive all around.

Had high hopes for this place after being told how wonderful it was by some London based beer geek mates. Sadly it didn’t live up to my expectations. We arrived fairly early on a Saturday evening (20.00 hours, 28th April 2012) and found a single but large bar room full to the rafters of drunks blocking the bar, filling every seat and being very noisey. My party of eight struggled to find a space let alone a gap big enough for all of us but we squeezed in anyway and then tried to reach the bar: we almost gave up but split into pairs and weasled our way through. Chairs and half a table for three of us after the first pints. Didn’t even try to get upstairs: so know idea what it’s like up there. Loads of choice but no chance of seeing a beer menu: they’d been eaten, we just choose what beer we could see once we hit the front of the bar. There might have a chalk board but I don’t remember seeing one. Stayed for two expensive pints then left. Beer quality we thought poor and I ended up helping people finish their pints because they were not enjoying them. Staff over run but trying hard, dirty glasses and tables (and floors) but left because of the beer pouring frenzy.

What a brilliant place. Made my way in from outside London on a Friday night and it was packed out - standing room only. A dozen high quality ales in close proximity to one another and another 2 dozen craft beers as well. Like a beer heaven. A good crowd, and [thankfully] no music. Decent people to talk to as well. Had several beers and each one was extremely well kept, tasty and fresh. Will be returning soon

Had my first visit last Friday evening. Was pretty quiet until 18ish but then got packed quickly, but there was plenty of staff on hand and never really had to wait long to get served, and the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable happy for you to sample before buying. Best aspect of course is the sheer choice available, really mind boggling. Understand the pricing system overall (especially for the imports) but only negative is that i found the pricing of The Kernel rather expensive at £7.00 a pint. The same brew only cost me £5.00 for a pint at the Catford Bridge Tavern the week before. Quite a difference.
