Visited a couple of times. The selection is good; 10 casks, 20 kegs and a pretty good selection of bottles. Service is knowledgeable, quick and will offer samples and recommendations to help you decide. Ambience. Well. The bar is on one side, some slightly worn seating on the opposite side of the room with an express way or dance floor in between. There is also seating upstairs, but I have not bothered to go up the stairs as it would lead me away from the bar. Small black flies are among the regular guests, and they will drink of your beer without asking first. Perhaps they are drawn by the smell of sour beer that for some reason seems to stick to the place.

Had a bottle share the other night. Nicest and most helpful staff around. They also keep the place clean.
Food is reasonably priced and tasty.
Plenty of seating everywhere - ground floor, upstairs, and outside on the nicer nights.
The selection is where they really shine. Enough taps to keep you busy while you’re there but so many great and rare brews in the fridge, you’ll be busy as you go home also.
Location is probably the

Grazie!!

This bar was a godsend on a wet, cold, winter Sunday in London. The excellent choice of local brews on tap and the help advice of the batman/woman in attendance kept me occupied all day.

Very nice looking bar with a good selection of craft beers. It’s a bit further out from the centre than the Covent Garden branch - but still within walking distance - and still retains that "old style" pub feel to it. Lovely. Will be back.

Visited yesterday on a Saturday afternoon. Not too busy so the bartenders where mainly standing idly behind the bar and were quick at serving. The selection across casks and bottles was very good. Prices seemed reasonable as well. Very nice, worth the visit

A said the No.1 pub in London and a must visit. Great pub, friendly staff and over 35 beers on tap: The Kernel, Beavertown, Magic Rock, Thornbridge, BBNo, The Bruery, Green Flash, Hoppin’ Frog, Toccalmatto, Evil Twin, Omnipollo... You’re in England so your beer is expensive, but what a place. Go there!
