Corner bar with the best cask selection I’ve seen yet in London. Nice outside area and window seats too. Nice stop for a mid afternoon pint or four.

Nice corner bar site with some barrels outside for vertical drinkers/ smokers. Bigger room downstairs with tables and chairs. V hot and sticky until air con turned on. Toilets decent enough. Unfortunately tills were down for a while; member of staff unable to add up change in her head and struggled to find beers on EPOS when it was working again. This exarcebated the fact that there were only 2 staff serving and a full house on bank hol sunday. Beer prices par for the course for London, with some reasonably priced and others less so. Halfs of Almanac gose and Anspach sour saison each ~£4. Pirate Bomb £7.50 a half. Still annoying that you’re not able to buy beer in thirds eespecially something at 15%! Overall great selection on tap plus plenty to keep you occupied bottle wise. Food selection looks decent but didn’t eat on this occasion. Handy for covent garden/ high holborn so expect will return at some point but prefer the Leather Lane premises

Even though this pub is slightly off the main tourists routes east to west and north to south in the west end, it’s a packed place that people find without much trouble. There’s two levels with the slightly cramped ground floor area including the long bar facing the pubs longest window where there’s only a handful of places to sit. There’s a few tables before this after you enter, but the lion share of them are downstairs in the larger open basement room. Like others in this chain pub there’s a considerable row of cask ales that are backed up by keg options and bottles, although this one was not as appealing as the other place from this group I’d previously visited - it’s not as well decorated as that one, and this one is way too touristy, which is something I thankfully don’t have to deal with in the best beer joints in the North of England.

Short walk from Oxford st. makes this location fitting after shopping or in case you are with a non beer geeks company. Long bar and few small tables on the first floor and a much larger sitting area on the lower level. Great tap and cask selection, serving pints and half pints only (as probably all places in London) which makes it harder to tastes many beers. Overall very nice place. Worth your visit.

Posto incredibile ! Mai viste tante spine e pompe tutte insieme !!! Ci sono tornati tutti i giorni dei miei 4 a Londra quest’estate, facile da trovare e veramente vicino a covent garden, un po’ caro per i nostri standard italiani ma era immaginabile

Visited twice now, once during the great RBESG2014 and then for a few beers after the recent London Drinker 2015. Due to location this place in regard to ambiance and service is variable. Visit at a quiet time and there is plenty of room and time to try all the great beers they have on offer, but after work on a week day can be a scrum. Selection is amazing, plenty of local, national and foreign casks/taps on offer. Prices are very high though to what I remember in London (near on to Denmark like prices now) Overall I really like this place when visiting at quieter times and will definitely return when next in the area.

(Visited Nov 2014) Another excellent addition to the Craft Beer chain, and I keep getting impressed by these guys. Location is very central, on the western part of High Holborn, at the crossing with Endell Street. The pub is not very big, and goes along Endell Street. Not much seating in street level, some stools along the windows. Downstairs is a larger seating area, with tables as well. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Of the 45 taps, around 20 are cask beers from British micros, more or less half of them changing from one day to the next. Nice and friendly atmosphere with lots of beer interested guests and geeks. Great place, another must visit Craft Beer Pub.
