Nice new Craft branch. I think I prefer the original one, but everyone else I was with disagreed. Much more pub like than Clerkenwell, with lots more seating in different areas. Same excellent selection and helpful staff and also the opening hours are a bit longer. Seems to be a bit more of a younger crowd than Clerkenwell so take that as a plus or a minus depending on your opinion. I like it and will be back.

Large, beautiful and clean pub. Well decorate. Nice ambiance. Calm, but still alive. Service was quick and friendly. Pretty good tap/cask selection including a couple of beers from The Kernel. Nice bottle selection too. We didnít had food, but they were serving ďWorthy BurgerĒ, which are pretty good. Prices are a tad high, but on par with what you can find in Greater London. Overall, this is a great pub and I would be definitely be a regular if I was living in London. My favorite Craft Beer Co. along the Clerkenwell one. Note from the missus: very good initiative to have moisturizer and quality soap in the ladies toilets.

Very nice place, as others have mentioned more pub than bar compared with say the Clerkenwell branch, a bit easier to get a bit of space to relax. The crowd had rather more obnxious hipster attitude than other branches. Beer selection of course wide, although if I were to be unnecessarily harsh I would say that on my last visit there were lots of beers from only a couple of breweries and very few coming in at less than 5% abv which makes it a tough evening...

This is far and away my favourite Craft venue. Not only does it have a superb beer selection but it also looks and feels like a pub. Service is pretty quick and on every occasion Iíve visited Iíve been able to get a seat pretty much immediately (on Friday and Saturday nights). Itís located away from the hustle and bustle of Upper Street yet within a shirt walk of Angel station.

Seemed a bit more pubby than Clerkenwell, much the same idea though. Pretty decent selection of cask and keg, mainly new beers.

You wouldnít really stumble upon this pub. Itís in a fairly quiet area of what is otherwise quite a bustling part of London. Comfortable seating and nice decor, sat near the (purely decorative) fireplace with a couple of Stone beers from keg. Plenty of choice here, and a nice environment to have a few drinks in.

Not as many cask ales but as many keg beers as their sister venue on Leather Lane. Still, a fast turnover so good quality and an excellent choice served by knowledgeable staff make it a beer destination. Trendier and more young couples (and louder music) than the one on Leather Lane. I just wish this chain would have free wi-fi as when pondering if to have an imported keg beer it would be nice to see ratebeer first!

Cozy pub with dark green and dark brown interior. The service was good. There are plenty of casks and taps with good stuff on and lots of bottles as well, although many of the bottles were uninteresting.

CBC Islington deserves it place on the top echelon of beer destinations in London. It strikes a great balance between ye olde London pub and an excellent contemporary beer selection. Expect the best craft beers that the world has to offer and plenty of one-offs on cask, keg & bottle. Perhaps the most comfortable and best ambiance of the CBC chain. They host plenty of tap takeovers and meet the brewer events. A brilliant place.

A pub with a great selection of cask, keg, and bottle - but that still feels like a íproper pubí - cozy, with plenty of seating. Condition of beers has been perfect on every visit, and you can rely on finding some new and interesting beers each time. Prices vary depending on the beer but they have a prominently displayed cask pricing structure. Allow hours for each visit!
