The wait at this place makes you expect a lot - but your experience may leave you wanting more. I came here twice but after the second time I def. didnt want to come again. The second time I came here it was on a date. We finally got a table and the server took our orders. My food was pretty good but my soda was noticeably flat. I routinely asked for another and surprisingly was met by another person working in the back who asked me what was wrong with my drink. I repeated that it was flat and he proceeded to sip my drink and tell me "tastes fine to me" I just starred at him. He relunctantly replaced my drink with another flat soda and after that I just lost interest in the place as a whole. The food , the atmosphere nor the prices warranted service at that level. blah.

After a full day of wearing out my shoes in Seoul, I finally sat down to rest at Craftworks. Did the taster of 7 brews. All were good, not remarkable. Far better than the government monopoly piss. Sadly, I didnít care for their stout (my favorite style). It tasted more like a weak porter. The Golden and the Pale were quite nice and representative of their respective styles. The burger was quite tasty and the 18 fries that came with it werenít bad.

I was in Seoul for one afternoon and stopped in here for some lunch and beers. They had seven beers on tap with a fairly good range of styles: pils, hefe, IPA, stout, etc. Each of the styles had proper glassware too. As Iím unfamiliar with Korean, it took a little while to find this place, but Iím glad I did. The beers I tried were all average or so, but the IPA was the standout of the group. The eggs Benedict I had were okay, but the potatoes that accompanied them were not that good. If youíre in Seoul itís worth stopping by to see the beginning of the Korean microbrewing movement.

Nicely furnished space with quite a few tables crammed into an area that is not very big. I really liked that they have the smoking and non-smoking areas clearly separated. The service was excellent and even though the servers werenít knowledgeable about the beers they were extremely helpful with everything else and were friendly. The beers themselves are hit and miss and the food is pretty good, though I thought a little bit overpriced. Serving the beers in the correct glassware was a big plus and the memorabilia you can buy was cool. An enjoyable place to have a meal or just to drink beer.

This place is pretty nice. It has a west coast beach side vibe, like a cool bistro with a nice back & side patio. They have 8 regular beers plus 1 seasonal and their prices are pretty reasonable. I had the sampler set of their 8 regulars for about 9000 won. The service was good but not so knowledgeable about beer. A few things I really liked were they use proper glassware & have lots of beer gear making for great souvenirs. Buy a mug for 11000 won & you get a beer to fill it! They also have tshirts & their beer labels are great. A really friendly owner too. A nice place for beer & a chat. ---This is Craftworks Original Location

Nice place not for from the main streat in Itaewon, Seoul. Crouded on a Friday evening. Very friendly staff with sufficient to good english. Basic and medium pub food but still ok. Beers are rather flat but nonetheless still enjoyable. Good place to spend an evening.

Awesome new brewpub/bistro in Seoul area of South Korea. It prides itself on good beer and amazing food. I had onion soup and gourmet burger, I can say I have not had soup like that since living in Germany. They had 6 brews on tap and one from Alley Kat brewing in Canada. The service was very helpful. The inside is non-smoking which makes tasting even better. Donít worry if you need to catch a smoke they have a spacious patio area. Iím sure I will be back here to enjoy myself again before I leave the ROK. I hope if your in Seoul you donít miss this must try place!
