Comes off a bit like your typical brewpub-restaurant experience with a slight French Quarter twist. Four beers on tap, growler fills available. Pilsner is respectable and worth a try if you’re a fan of lagers. Food looked fairly mundane considering what else is around the FQ.

December 2010. Visited on a blustery afternoon in December, and it was still warm enough to sit on the balcony. This place offers some solid Germany style lagers along with pretty decent food. Wife had some crabcakes that she devoured with much vigor. My burger was good. The beers were true to style and sturdily made. Bit pricey overall, and they seemed anxious to move us along, but it is New Orleans ... (Brewery #521)

Better than expected overall. Beers were mostly all clean except for the seasonal weizen bock. Surprised by how decent the pils was. Worth a visit. Oysters looked fabulous.

Located near the French quarter. We went on a Friday night where a jazz band was playing so it was unbeilevably loud. They only had 5 beers. Oddly it’s September and their seasonal was a wheat beer. The server knew nothing about the beers. He thought the flavor profile of a wheat beer was extra hoppy. The po boy was bland. This is a corporate Brewpub for the tourists.

Got dinner and drinks here my first night in a long weekend in New Orleans, and I was happy to get a chance to sample some beers at one of the city’s breweries. The building is awesome; a great restoration in an old building along Decatur Street, which otherwise has a lot of tourist trap spots like Hard Rock and Bubba Gump. There aren’t many beers at any given time; they have one year-round brews and generally keep just one seasonal going. I got the 5-beer sampler to try them all along with my German sausage platter. It’s a little expensive for the entrees, but there are a lot of menu options. I was with a buddy whose sister actually had just quit working here and was with us for dinner so we got great service; otherwise, they seemed a little understaffed for a busy night. The door said the kitchen was supposed to close at 10 but it appeared to go to at least 11 or so- seemed pretty loose and easy with how they ran the place, pretty much like every other place in New Orleans. The beer isn’t the greatest in the world but the atmosphere is a nice reprieve from the tourist traps around it and it’s worth a visit if you’re in the French Quarter.

Being right in the middle of the most touristy area of the French Quarter might, for most, be a good thing, but for me it was not - because of its location, it seems to accentuate style over substance - the fact that they make their own beer probably draws in a lot of tourists, but for the beer "expert" that can tell their beer is ho-hum, it isn’t a big draw - good service, though - a tourist place, what more can really be said?

Not impressed at all. People were friendly enough, but when I visited, there were only three beers on tap. Asked for a sampler. Got three beers and the offer to have a dupe of one I liked. Fine. Total was still $8 for 4-3oz samples. Rip-off. Hopefully, their seasonals are in better shape than the daily offerings.

Nice location with great food. Short distance from French Quarter and TN river. Atmosphere was nice with brewing equipment right behind the bar. Beers are nice for LA though nothing fancy about them. Many could be nice if tweaked a bit. Service is good but always this same corporate feel. Food was delicious. Better to get there in mid afternoon before the place gets packed.

A large terrific restaurant brewpub. Some cool local art on the walls (when we were there, there was a Christian-Voodoo themed bunch of pieces around us very intersting). Check out the neon jellyfish above the bar very cool. Excellent wait staff, good food (our large table shared 6 appies and we all had a main and none of use were disappointed). I was very disappointed that 2 of the 4 beers I tried were heavily tainted by unclean lines. I politely talked about this with our server, and she said she’d pass it on. Definitely willing to give it another shot if/when we return.
