Great little pub at the far end of the high street of this quaint little market town. Eight real ale handpumps (mainly local micros, but a good selection from across the country too), one real cider and the usual macro pumps. Good buzz of coversation in the pub, along with traditional pub games and a piano. Tiny courtyard out the back with wild hops growing up the walls. Behind that in the landlord Peterís splendidly messy "Man Shed", as he calls it, is the tiny Thame microbrewery, whiere he does two brews a week exclusively for the pub. These can sell out in hours, so itís worth phoning ahead to make sure one will be on when you visit. Very friendly and traditional little brewpub, well worth a visit.
