Lovely place near the center of Oslo. Modern, industrial looking place with the right focuss on tap beers. 20 beers on tap, 100+ bottled beers. They had 5 own brewed beers on tap when visited plus a very nice selection of Norwegian & American brews on tap. 6 part sampler for 250 NOK (20cl each). Very nice and knowledgeable personnel. If you are in Oslo, this is a must to visit.

A brewpub with a great tap selection. I had six Crowbar beers (20 cl) I really liked their Christmas beer and Barley Wine. And the place? Lots of Hipsters, but I can handle that! The pub reminds me a bit about Brew Dog Bars, which I like. Service was friendly and a bartender took one’s time to tell about the brewery and the beers. And, this was a busy Friday evening. I’ll be back! (visited December 5 and 6th 2014)

Around 20 keg beers. Probably 100 bottles. On a Monday you can get 6 x 200ml tasters for NOK 250 (€30). This consists of the 5 house beers and another of your choice. Friendly Aussie guys working there.

Koselig bryggeripub i Oslo som i tilleg til egne øl på tapp også har greit utvalg av andre på tapp.

New brewpub in close vicinity to Oslo city center. The interior of the pub is quite "sterile" in a way with uncomfortable seating with some nice stuffed chairs added in between for cozyness. I can see what they tried to do with the design and it almost works, trying to be modern and think new but not quite succeeded. Anyway the tap selection is great for a norwegian brew pub with beers made on the premise and loads of interesting guest beers. 20 beers on tap with an interesting but very expensive selection of bottled beers. On the food side I can recommend the kebab thats been roasted and made on the pub (2nd floor) and the potato chips. But my big negative to this pub is the service. I have been here 4-5 times and every time the service have been awful, only saving grace is my knowledge of beer so I didn’t really need the bartenders help but for a new customer trying to get a good tip or discussion about beer with the bartender I say go somewhere else. Last time I visited the spanish female bartender was more interested in talking in spanish to her friend than serving me (nothing negative towards my spanish frirends just pointing out the service) :-) And on previous visits the service haven’t been better. But if you can get past the bad bartenders this place is nice for trying out new and intersting beers in Oslo! Also you can get 2cl tasting glasses and a beer flight and in the summer they got outdoor seating. So a nice place to go to for ticks if you can get past the not so service-minded bartenders :-)

A nice brewpub that in addition to their own beers have a nice selection of other craft beers on tap. They also have a nice selection of bottles as well. The food is nice but a bit expensive.

A very nice place for beer lovers located in one of the main city of the town, and close to the city center. The selection on tap is huge (20) and good (i remember different golden ale, saison and pale ale): they have their own beer in addition to many guest beers. The ambiance is pretty good and they also have an open space to sit. It deserves at least a couple of visits.

The good: My go-to place in Oslo. Great decor paired with an impressive tap list. Tired of the traditional kebab? Try the kebab place located inside the pub! The bad: Hipster paradise. Expect loads of pale ale and people with beanies and mustaches. Very crowded during weekend peak hours.

It took the brewpub a couple of months to find its style, after the January 2013 opening, but over the last year it has matured into a confident brewpub with from 1 to 6 of their own beers on tap and about a dozen guest beers on tap. It is also very popular, usually packed on Fridays and Saturdays so beer lovers are advised to come early in the week. Brewmaster Dave Gardonio, formerly of Ægir, has done a great job composing recipes, resulting in a large number of unusual beers (unusual in the sense that he hasn’t jumped on the hop wagon but rather has focused on malt and traditional beer styles - such as steam beer, kellerbier, roggenbier, saison, mild ale etc). But, naturally, he also has to brew IPAs from time to time, as demand for hoppy beers is high everywhere. What I really like about Crow is the big blackboard behind the bar, listing info about each beer on tap. And with 19 taps you really need that! I miss a wider food selection than the kebab currently served, but otherwise feel that the Crow has found its style. Downstairs is fairly open, with simple seating, upstairs a bit more secluded and cozy - allowing you to look down at the microbrewery. Along with Schouskjelleren, Crowbar is my favorite brewpub (out of 6) in Oslo. Updated: 2014-05-22
