We visited here March 2012 thanks to Joe Stange’s great ’Around Brussels in 80 Beers’ book. A typical no frills, brown cafe with a mixed but generally down to earth clientele. The beer list is hardly exhaustive but it is easy enough to find something that appeals and the service was good, in fact I think I had Boon Kriek which I rather like so that was fine. Narrow and also not so long, I ordered from the bar, but it was certainly busy, in fact quite popular with those finishing work. I found this a friendly little bar that I would happily go to again especially as it is so close to Monk and Paon Royal.
