I visited this place a couple weeks ago. The bar entrance is on the right side of the building. After climbing a flight of stairs, a cozy little bar area greets you. They have about a dozen taps, which are mostly German, and a few very uncommon beers on tap. They have an interesting food menu, but I did not partake in that. Very friendly bartenders and waitstaff here. They also have an upstairs patio where they will allow you to smoke cigars, which was the most utterly unexpected benefit! Loved this place.

This is very "corporate" German bierhaus. Everything is cliche, they make all the waitresses wear those outfits you always see in pictures of Oktoberfest that show off their boobs. It’s kind of like Hooters- they’re probably there more for their appearance than their service skills.

Anyway, beer selection is pretty good. I was surprised to see some rather rare beers like Aventinus and Kulmbacher Eisbock on tap. They even had the authentic glassware.

GF and I split a big pretzel which was good. Didn’t try anything else. Menu was a little small.

This is a total novelty place. If you want good German beer this is pretty much the only place in town you’re gong to find it.

If you like German beer, this place has a great draft & bottle selections. Always some local Trapp drafts. Food is classic grerman fare. If the weather is nice there is a beer garten on the roof. Usuallya soccer game on the big screen upstairs.

When I visited: Late May 2013. What I had: Arcobräu Zwicklbier on tap, bottle of Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA, sample of Julius Echter Hefe-Weissbier, Rudi Wiest Riesling for my companion. What I liked: Beer hall-meets-pub decor, friendly servers dressed in lederhosen garb, cozy downstairs bar, solid U.S. micro bottle list, three different serving sizes for draughts. What I disliked: I had already tried most of the German taps and bottles on offer, hence the 75 Minute order. The bar was surprisingly dead for a Saturday night and lacking in atmosphere as a result. Would I go back? Possibly. Overall Rating: 64

Un restaurant allemand qui propose une belle carte de bière, de la Gose en autre. Un menu avec quelques erreurs dont des Spätzle complètement ratés.

3 floors of wannabe German atmosphere and doing that very successfully with the suited staff, appropriate glassware and fairly good German brew draught selection. The crowd seemed to appreciate the folklore. Food menu ventures in the same direction with sausages being especially well represented. I found my schnitzel plate a bit subpar, but not frustratingly so. It’s not an essential visit in a Burlington pub tour, but rather a nice alternative if you’re here for a long time or a frequent visitor.

What a great spot. Post-dinner drinks on the rooftop patio. Met some great folks at our table, had a great night. Good selection of German beer. Be fun on a more packed night.

These guys helped me to pop my Schneider Aventinus cherry, and Im sooo glad I waited to try it here, on tap, before I ever had it from a bottle. Again, I havent tried any food here yet, so "Ill Be Back" (Gov. Schwarzenegger). First time I went was during the "soft opening" period, and the second time I got to have a quick one on the ROOF DECK(!).

A nice 2 level smallish bierhaus with a nice german food and beer menu, around 6-7 German beers on tap, and anout 20 bottled varieties. A nice addition to the Burlington scene.
