When you go to Daveís Brew Farm, you join part of the family. This is the quintessential rural country gathering.
You instantly become part of the family, and it is like a picnic, for everyone.
Highly Recommend! Bring a dish to pass, be social, and enjoy great beer.

Great setting. It feels like rural Wisconsin but it is only a few miles off interstate 94. Indoor and outdoor seating, and on a nice day, I much prefer to be outside under the tent. Kids, dogs, skydivers dropping in for a beer (literally), and picnic lunches. This is important by the way. Bring food; everyone brings food. Dave is very knowledge about sour and wild beer, so you can talk about lambic, or his newest experiment. This is probably the most interesting, experimental brewery between Jolly Pumpkin and the West coast, and I canít think of anyone trying as many unusual creations anywhere. Eight beers to choose from, some are available to go, in liter bottles I believe. $5 for a ten oz pour, or 8 2oz samples for $10. Tick away.

Visited on a Saturday right after they opened. Parked on a small country road on a brisk Fall afternoon. Tasting/brewing room is spacious and full of tables and many bar stools. Dave and his partner are there pouring beers and it really feels like a family gathering. At first this seemed like we were a little out of the norm for the locals but they all made conversation and made us welcome. 8 beers on tap and a few pre-bottled growlers. Mostly lagers this Saturday and my main criticism was that there was very little diversity in the beers being served. That said, Dave was great to talk to and people kept offering us food they had brought. Great people and really make you feel at home. This is the Thanksgiving spot that is glamorized in numerous food magazines.

Just headed out for the first time, had 9 beers on tap and I enjoyed all of them. Had to switch one beer out while I was there, grabbed a couple growlers and glasses for later. A little more expensive, but you can bring your own stuff which is super cool. I will definitely be back to fill the growlers and spend a nice day outside at the farm.

What a great place!!! It is true that if you are not paying attention you will miss it! The tasting room is around back and has a some what homey feel. Place was packed when I was there and many had brought food for a picnic. 8 beers on tap plus a few more available in growlers/flip tops. Prices are a steal! Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely worth a stop even if it is a bit out of the way!

Trip with the girlfriend, her mother, and atom. Fun time with great weather. We had been wanting to make this trip for about a year now, and finally we made the executive decisions to make Sunday the day. About an hour out of St. Paul, with a quick stop at a gas station before getting there. Eight beers on tap with cans of select and bottles of matacabras available as well. Great deal for the amount of beer that you get. We had some great conversations with Dave and the other guests there. Wonderful time. The only thing that could make this better would be if there was a White Castle down the road so you can stop there after leaving.

This was a fun trip to make from the cities, about an hour from Minneapolis not far off 94. Fun beers on tap and it wasnít too crowded so we had some nice conversation with Dave. It was nice to sit out in the sun and also inside in the cool shade. Going to have to try and make it out more.

What a cool place! Esjaygeeís description below is spot-on, so I wonít recap those details. But 8 great taps for $10 in a flight, conversation with the brewer, and a totally chill vibe - canít beat it.

A strange place to have a brewpub with such interesting beers. Not far off the interstate in northwestern Wisconsin, itís well worth the trip. Itís only open from 3-7 on some Saturdayís and Sundayís so be sure to check their facebook page to make sure itís open. Basically itís true to itís name as itís a farm with a wind mill and seems to be the only show in town. It was pretty packed on my visit, mostly with beers geeks like me. There were peanuts on the tables but bringing your own food or grill is encouraged. Basically a converted garage with a few ferementers and other beer making equipment, a small bar, a few tables and a bathroom. The brewmaster Dave was pouring the tasty suds and I got the flight which was a 2-3 (more like 4) ounce pours of each of the 8 interesting housebrews. They also had liter bottles on sale and one couple brought a cooler full back and returned home with a fresh cooler to take back to Minnesota with them. Certainly right up my alley due to the setting and the uniqueness of the beers on tap and reminds me of some of the Michigan brewpubs in terms of variety and style. Iíve said it before and Iíll say it again - can someone please open something like this close to Milwaukee?
