A nice brewpub in the main street. The brew kit is at the front and looks good - all wood and copper - and the bar area is attractive too. There were twelve taps with generous samples available plus (importantly for me, as I was driving) a full range of nice fruit juices.

Not a bad place. Stopped on way back from lake placid. Cool building there was football crowd downstairs so we went up for food. Food is pretty good and service was friendly. Beers are just ok but there is 12 of them and samplers are sweet.
I came to Davidsons while in Lake George for work one evening (and ADK Brewing was closed) and this was the closest brewoub in the area. The atmosphere is good as the building has that old style early 1900’s brick building appeal, about a dozen spots that bar and about 20 tables downstairs and upstairs seating too. The service was decent as the bartender was attentive at times and stopped by several times while eating to check on me. The selection of beers were decent as they had a wide range of beer (12 different styles on tap, all in house). The quality of the beers was mediocre as most of the beers werent properly carbonated and most of the taste of the beer were mild (at best). The food was average as I ordered a burger and fries (burger was ordered medium rare and came medium well) but was okay although not seasons at all. I got a burger and sampler for $23 which is about average for what I normally see.
Overall, this place is okay for food, beer is under carbonated, but the service was decent. Other than the under carbonated beers, one of the brewers was sitting at the bar bitching about the employees ... which is not the right place to do it.
A solid brewpub in the small town of Glens Falls in upstate NY. A fairly standard pub on the inside with plenty of outdoor seating as well. The staff was friendly. One of the owners came up and introduced himself to us, asked us a few questions. The beers were good, but not great (the fresh hopped IPA was pretty good). They do offer samplers. The food was a notch above standard pub grub (I liked my turkey brie panini). The dessert sampler was disappointing though. Overall it was a worthy stop, though I wasn’t blown away.
Davidson Brothers has solid food, solid beer, and it is a nice little place to stop and eat if you’re in the Glens Falls area. They’re miles ahead of the local competition (Coopers Cave), and the staff is great.
A wonderful find in Glen Falls with a sizable patio and a very rustic interior - except in Summer as there is no A/C.
Fine array of craft beers given the very small space allowed for brewing. Great food and excellent service. Always stop by on the way up to Vermont.
A little run down looking from the street, but a great comfortable spot that had a nice tap list going for my visit. I went with their pick your own sampler and enjoyed all of the beers I sampled with the stout and porter being two real standouts. Big menu, with some interesting options. Appetizer, soup and entree were all above average to very good pub food. Friendly service. Growler was a bit pricy.
