Absolutely love this place. Pretty great selection, despite a relatively slow rotation. A nice outdoor patio for good weather days. Good prices for Brooklyn. Service is good despite a less than knowledgeable staff for a beer bar. Most importantly, a great music selection.
You will be missed, Ray.

Visited on a Sunday, at the tail end of a cask fest they were having. By the time we got there, down to four casks - but what they had had was pretty cool. Beyond the cask selection, really nice tap and bottle list as well. Bar itself was pretty narrow and crowded, service a tad slow at the bar. Overall, cool neighborhood spot with a nice selection.

Visited with fellow RateBeerian on 5th July 2013. Spacious rectangular bar affording plenty of at-the-bar seating. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere although pub was emptyish for a Friday night on account of regulars being away for extended Independence Day celebrations. I enjoyed Anchor Liberty ale amongst others from a fair range. I enjoyed the "Poboy catfish sliders" from an imaginative food menu prepared in the backyard of the pub. It was nice of the chef to come over to us and chat about their recipes, lovely touch. A good spot, I would happily return.

Itís tough rating places you have only been to one or two times... the draft lists are constantly changing. That said, my visit was during a festival with several beers Iíve never had and thatís tough to do. The servers here were among the most friendly and outgoing of any Iíve encountered in NYC and the place gets props for that. dba has a nice inviting interior and a relaxing vibe.

Even though this place has been open for awhile, I only recently got myself down here. Located in a very bright location close to the Williamsburg waterfront, it looks shockingly similar inside to the Manhattan location, but manages to feel completely different. Very bright with an equally bright outdoor area in back. Friendly service and a solid tap list and whisky selection, this is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Great selection, especially European beers. Beautifully uncrowded patio on a Friday evening. Sweet, helpful bartender. Reasonable prices a touch on the high side.

Conveniently located near the Bedford subway station. Cosy pub, small-medium size, sits about 100 but with a lot of standing space because the tables are spread out. Nice patio in the back. They had 16 taps + 3 casks when I was there. Focus on NY craftbeers and east-coast in general with some classics and some interesting finds (small batches, one-offs, etc.). Defiants, Sly Fox, etcÖ Many beers I had never seen before. I had Defiant Oatmeal Stout on cask. The place felts more like friendly neighbourhood bar than the more trendy hipster hangout d.b.a. Manhattan location. I will go back there.

Nice high ceilings with an outdoor space in the back. Fairly roomy, with a similar layout to the original dba in Manhattan. Chalk boards over the bar list the beers. They have a similar list as the original place, perhaps a tad less extensive. They have a handful of the Cantillon offerings for a relatively reasonable price (Iris for $20, which isnít bad at all) The 16 taps all go for $6 a pop, but they have a happy hour for a $ off. (My two pints came out to $10, and it was around 5:30pm). The bartender was very attentive and friendly as well. Cool place, and worth the visit. Theyíre also dog friendly, like most Brooklyn bars, which I love.

Went here for a cider tasting and really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Great space with a long bar area for locals to enjoy. Solid tap list.

After going here a few times I began to like it more. Not as charming as the NY location but still a descent selection of beer and a friendly staff. They do have a crazy bourbon and whiskey selection, I donít drink much of that though. Nice place, shiny and new, great location.
