Good craft beer for people or with an expense account. It’s pretty with lots of pretty people. The cheese plate was fantastic. The menu is high end pub food done by a deservedly famous chef/restaurant brand. They have a few notable cellared bottles but otherwise the beer menu is not so uncommon. There were certainly many nice things on draft for but the prices were really high for what they had.

Beautiful place. Caught them on an off day, with a substitute bartender. Found a rather glaring error in the beer list... Founders Curmudgeon was listed as a barley wine and called Old Curmudgeon. Doubt they corrected that one. Still, very much enjoyed the visit.

Ate here on a Saturday night while visiting in NYC. Great food and ok beer selection. I had trouble finding something I hadn’t had before, but the choices on the menu were all good. Some stuff I was surprised to see too. Great service, better food, good beer selection.

Love this place. The tap line up isn’t huge (10-15) but well manicured. Usually a new tap from the printed menu. Extra credit for beer som and extensive cellar list. Full restaurant menu, so best food to beer ratio in the city. Nice sized space but can get a little tight around the section where the bar and front dining room meet.

Visited with family. Odd interior space and lay out, kind of modern. Service was decent, and the beer selection was surprisingly good (Oak Aged Pumking), good bottles. Food was overall quite good, but not quite as good as some of his other restaurants. Pricy.

I came here for Daniel Boloud’s charcuterie. I left here impressed as hell with their beer program. You enter a spacious, modern room adorned with floor to ceiling mirrors and glass. The mirrors have cool historical quotes about food and drink, and we had a good time reading many of them as we sat at the bar and imbibed. Having already eaten lunch, we opted for a small charcuterie plate. The house made sausage, head cheese, paté, and various other concoctions were all delicious, served with perfectly toasted bread. Then there was the beer selection. They had three different Zymatore series beers on from B. United, along with a number of unique imported options that I’ve never seen anywhere else. I dare say that the selection, while smaller than other places in town, was very well conceived. Our servers were knowledgeable and friendly. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that ALL beers were only $5 during happy hour! That’s as much as an $8 savings on some of the rarer beers. What more can I say? The place just rocks! I wish I could have gone back for a full meal. It’s a must stop as far as I’m concerned.

Nice visit with a dear old friend, and we enjoyed our time bellied up at the bar. The food was absolutely terrific, and I recall we got some great venison carpaccio with horseradish among other things. Nice wide open space, well arranged and designed, and the staff was terrific. Looked to be a very nice cocktail menu, but as far as beers go there was a very nice selection of both drafts and bottles. Prices were quite high for some of the bottles, but taps were reasonable. I’d certainly go back for the food again, but the experience overall was hard to knock.

I adore this place. Perhaps not where you’d go if you just wanted a few quick or cheap pints, but if you are in the mood for a fantastic meal, or an upscale bar with great ambiance, this is the place to go. Service is excellent, and the selection is quite good. Schlenkerla, Saison Dupont, even Cantillon are fairly common draft. Lots of local stuff as well. Just don’t expect it to be cheap. Most importantly, this place is a restaurant, not a bar, and the food by Daniel Bouloud is simply top notch. 10+ homemade sausages, among a ton of other stuff are the highlight for me.

Stopped in here for a few sausages a few weeks back. A pretty solid tap list really. Lots of bottles and although it’s pricy, I enjoyed it. Since it’s Daniel Boulud, you know the food is going to be awesome. I had the boudin basque and the Toulouse sausage and both were awesome. We ate at the bar out front which was pretty nice. Lots of glass and mirrors with fun beer/food related quotes written all over them. There is a larger more ornate dining room in back, but we didn’t get to eat there. It’s a pretty pricy meal out, but the beer really does complement this type of food very well and it’s top notch.
