Rudy carries many great Flanders beers but also some very rare Wallonian beers which are hard to find in Bruges. Excelent knowledge of the beers to help your selection. Good value.

We’ve been a number of times and I must say I am fairly certain I had rated this, so not sure where my rating has gone. The last time we went here it was a friends birthday the owner gave him a large bottle of Lupulus to take away as a present. I would echo many of the comments from others, it is a friendly, slightly quirky place but one well worth popping into. I have chosen bottles from the shop part of the establishment and then drank them in the back part. It is a solid very down to earth place with extremely competive pricing in a town which is usually very expensive. I guess that we are likely to go here again today (Sat 6th Oct 2012)

Think nowhere can be perfect? This may not have the biggest selection, but Rudy always has something sup rising (to drink in or take away). It may not have the most exclusive decor, but the atmosphere, value & personal touch are second to none. It may not be in a central location, but that’s why it’s a real find. It is conventional in any way, but it’s fantastic.

It may not look like much, but this is a real find. A small shop at the front, or pick a beer & drink it in the small bar at the back. As others have said, not a vast selection, but some interesting choices. The owner is a lovely guy, and it’s become a firm favourite.

I stopped in on a cold rainy summer afternoon. I had a beer and enjoyed myself as it a place of character. Very inexpensive to have a beer here and an unusual place as others have mentioned. The selection as a store wasn’t huge but they had a cooler filled with beer from which to choose if you wanted to drink some there. If I was with friends we would likely have spent the who.e afternoon there.

I have visited Bruges several times and this little place is becoming one of my favourite bars. The selection may not be as vast as some of the other bars in town but the choice is still extensive and more importantly interesting. No "supermarket" beers here. The prices are the best in town and the owner is a really friendly guy. The furnishings are a little basic but that just adds to the charm somehow.

A very nice beer store and bar combined into one. Their value is as good as it realisticly gets in Brugge. They have a good selection of belgian beers in generel and they rotate in new beers regularly to go along with the old classics. For instance they had both of the Malheur Beer Brut´s when I visited. Service is extremly friendly and this place is a must visit as a beer geek imo.

What a fantastic find: This shop-cum-bar is two doors down from De Kelk and well worth walking those extra 10 yards. There are bigger beer stores with larger selections in Brugges, there are certainly smarter and better appointed drinking establishments, but this is special. It is by far the cheapest and friendliest beershop/bar I’ve visited in Brugges. The cold fridge has all bottles at 2 Euro or 2.50 Euro to be drank at the back of the shop: there is a small bar area, plus a few tables and chairs. Toilets out the back are a little rural and rustic, but clean and absorbing. I have now been back many, many times and still think it the best ’hidden gem’ in Brugge, even the wife likes walking out to it (she thinks it a bit grubby but lovely non-the-less). Rudi and his wife are great people, we exchange beers on all my visits, I always buy a load as well. Love the place.

A really special place, in front of the small room, there is a tiny bottle-shop, next a bar and a couple of tables. Kind people, likes to chat. Has the normal belgian beers and some specials too. Cheap.
