I stopped in on a cold rainy summer afternoon. I had a beer and enjoyed myself as it a place of character. Very inexpensive to have a beer here and an unusual place as others have mentioned. The selection as a store wasn’t huge but they had a cooler filled with beer from which to choose if you wanted to drink some there. If I was with friends we would likely have spent the who.e afternoon there.

I have visited Bruges several times and this little place is becoming one of my favourite bars. The selection may not be as vast as some of the other bars in town but the choice is still extensive and more importantly interesting. No "supermarket" beers here. The prices are the best in town and the owner is a really friendly guy. The furnishings are a little basic but that just adds to the charm somehow.

A very nice beer store and bar combined into one. Their value is as good as it realisticly gets in Brugge.
They have a good selection of belgian beers in generel and they rotate in new beers regularly to go along with the old classics. For instance they had both of the Malheur Beer Brut´s when I visited. Service is extremly friendly and this place is a must visit as a beer geek imo.

What a fantastic find: This shop-cum-bar is two doors down from De Kelk and well worth walking those extra 10 yards. There are bigger beer stores with larger selections in Brugges, there are certainly smarter and better appointed drinking establishments, but this is special.
It is by far the cheapest and friendliest beershop/bar I’ve visited in Brugges. The cold fridge has all bottles at 2 Euro or 2.50 Euro to be drank at the back of the shop: there is a small bar area, plus a few tables and chairs. Toilets out the back are a little rural and rustic, but clean and absorbing.
I have now been back many, many times and still think it the best ’hidden gem’ in Brugge, even the wife likes walking out to it (she thinks it a bit grubby but lovely non-the-less).
Rudi and his wife are great people, we exchange beers on all my visits, I always buy a load as well. Love the place.

A really special place, in front of the small room, there is a tiny bottle-shop, next a bar and a couple of tables. Kind people, likes to chat. Has the normal belgian beers and some specials too. Cheap.

Small beer shop with a small but interesting selection, prices are the best i saw in Brugge and chatted with the owner for a while over my choice. Well worth the walk from the Markt.

Best beer store in Bruges if you ask me. Not too many rare items, but lots of goodies at great value, the cheapest I’ve seen anywhere. The owner is also very friendly, opening the store for us after hours so we wouldn’t run dry. Needless to say we did most of our beershopping here. Too bad their selection isn’t that big compared to the other stores.

Small selection, but they had La Trappe Bockbier, that I didn’t find elsewhere in Bruges, and one other I hadn’t had (can’t remember which one). Didn’t stay for a beer, though. Located conveniently close to the Smatch supermarket (with the best beer selection in Bruges).

Not a very extensive selection, but I found a few beers that I had not seen before. The prices are very reasonable compared to some of the tourist traps you find in the city centres in Belgium. I did not stay for a beer. The place looked a tad shabby, but the service was friendly.

Part shop, part beer cafe, just on the east side of town, but not too remote. Run by Rudy who really loves Belgian beer, and was quite happy to talk about different styles and how he looks forward to being able to expand his selection. Great prices, I think the best I’ve seen in Belgium (but I’ve not been into a huge number of shops). Nice touches like instinctively wrapping the bottles we’d bought in bubblewrap. Has a pool table too by the looks of it. Also has some exotic bird at the back which repeatedly chirped what we were sure was ’rate beer, rate beer’.
