World class beer shop, albeit a bit too warm inside sometimes, but they seem to have tackled this problem lately. Nice multi-level interior, loads of beers from various countries, everchanging excellent selection. Prices are good. Also very nice if youíre into Lambic beers, they have a cellar filled with this stuff. Lots of glassware too. Staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, I even got a free beer when I told them one of the bottles I bought earlier was infected. Thatís what service is about imo.

Visited this place and cracked kettle on a brief trip to Amsterdam. Selection is obviously large, including all 3, rather expensive, Westvleterens (approx 10euro a bottle). I couldnít find a few things I was looking for, no struise beers for example, and when I asked if they had any Chouffe NíIce in I was told not to be so silly itís not winter now (in September), still I got a bottle of it from cracked kettle so nevermind.

A really good beer shop with tons of beers from all over the world - Netherlands, US, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and more. Most of it is quality micros. If I had more room in my luggage I would spent a lot of money here. Located quite central and the prices are very good (for example - 3F Hommage for 11E). I would like to come to this place again sometime.

If youríe into Dutch and Belgian beers and/or glasses this is the place in Amsterdam. There are so many to choose from, that it gets almost overwhelming.

Fantastic selection in a small shop purely dedicated to good beer. The selected of Dutch beer is tops here, with a number of quality Belgian and German bottles as well. What else can I say? You should visit this store, but also be sure to visit Cracked Kettle, which I found to be even better. It wasnít the mecca I was expecting, but certainly itís a place not to miss while in Amsterdam.

Nice place, great selection, ok service, lacking in all the stuff I wanted to find here at the time though..... Unless thereís something here you canít find else where skip it for the cracked kettle which is FAR SUPPERIOR in my opinion.

Amazing selection of beers, at least from Belgium and Holland. Reasonable selection of other countries too. Presumably mostly only the cream of each country, as they only had Finlandís best brewer, and none of the shit stuff (unlike Utobeer, which only had one of the worst ones). Pleasant and helpful staff.

Massive selection and very clean shop. Service was great but not as personable as the Cracked Kettle. If you are on a trek to find beer, between the two De Bierkoning and the Cracked Kettle will have everything you want.

Excellent shop. Nice dutch selection, really nice service, OK priced. The best beershop in Amsterdam that I have visited.
