Small store close to the Dam. Great shop with a wide range of beers from different countries. Many American breweries, lots of Dutch breweries (Molen, ít IJ etc) as well. Shelves with Rogue, Mikkeler, Brewdog, Anchor... Also a small stock of hard to find beers. Service is very good. Very helpful and fond of giving advice. Being an Amsterdammer myself, I usually go here once a month. If itís not for buying something, then it is just to take a gander in this ícandy shopí of beer. Must visit for tourists who donít want to visit the usual tourist crap here in the city.

Great beershop in central Amsterdam. The shop is split into three levels. Beers are sorted by country and easy to find. Lots of American beers but a bit pricey in that section. Loads of beers from Struise and de Molen. Great selection of sours in the basement. Good service. A must visit.

Great "little" bottle shop!! Very nice and wide variety, well organised by country, some really great gems!!!! The staff was helpfull and very eager to promote smaller and not-so-known microbreweries. The prices was really nice, especially for Dutch and Belgian stuff!! The first stop in Amsterdam must always be De Bierkoning!!!

As has been posted, this is a must visit. Many amazing beers! A busy place for good reason. Canít really describe the range of beers they stock, letís just say you wonít be let down. Wish I would have brought some beers with me to trade (somehow missed that review).

Visited on Sunday 28/09/14 around 1pm and the place was doing a good trade.
Smallish bottle shop effectively split over 3 levels. The entrance level is the service area with a fridge or two, the lower level is geueze and sours (plenty of Cantillons etc) and the upper level carries the bulk of the beer which is well laid out by country.
Lots of Dutch beer as youíd imagine, a good shelf worth of Mikkeller, a good selection of UK and US beers, etc etc.
Service was friendly and help proffered if required. The individual beers are also well labelled in respect to style etc.
Prices seemed pretty fair.
A world class bottle shop!
