Good selection, particularly of Belgian and Dutch beers, with some others thrown in too. Small, crowded shop but easy to get around in. Prices are a bit higher than comparable places. Convenient location might have something to do with that. Good beer shop.

Exceptionally well stocked but small shop hidden away in the centre of town. Unusual bottles that appeal to the owner appear, and you’re always likely to find a new temptation. Seems to be supplying some of the more adventurous local bars as well.

Many lambics available as well as Fantome and Dutch and Belgium micro’s. Also beers from Germany, England, Mexico. Not too expensive. Probably top 5 for beer stores in the Netherlands

Located in a small old street, this is a pretty small place with loads of beer, sold to you by a very friendly beerconnaisseur! Selection is very nice: some familiar stuff, some micro stuff the owner brought along from his vacations, some cans, some difficult to obtain stuff and the prices are between cheap and ok, that’s good. Owner knows what he is selling and likes to advise you if you are looking for something special.
Very nice shop in historic center of Leiden. Make sure to visit when in Leiden!

Small shop in the centre of Leiden, packed with beer so don’t come in with a big backpack or you’ll destroy some beer. Stuff from all over the world, some own imports from e.g. France, good selection of Lambics if you’re into that. Friendly helpful owner.

This is my main supplier and a very nice shop indeed. Packed with beers (and wiskeys) from all over the world. Good selection of Belgian beers, but also regional and Dutch, English, US, German, etc. Best is the high quality and constant renewal of what’s offered. Happy to help you (even order beers or glasses not in stock) even then busy in the tight shop. Ask for some InBev beer to kick start a good conversation. :P Has a closed cellar with aged beers as well.

Small shop in an alley near one of the two big old churches (Hooglandse / St. Pancras Kerk) in the old centre. Quite a big beer selection, plus a lot of whisky. Great service from a helpful owner.

Small cosey store in the centre of Leiden. Good selection of different types of beers. Lots of standard Belgian stuff but also nice stuff from the New World. Quite some Hof ten Dormaal if you are interested. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are more than reasonable. Must visit when in Leiden.
