Went back here after Capital. Apparently they have the same owner. Choice is naturally not so big, but there was a decent enough selection. Feels more like a locals place than a tourist place. Quite nice though.

If you’re in Leuven city, you _MUST_ go for a beer. In fact go three or four times and you realise how good it is.
First impressions is the decor and ambience, beer signs everywhere, with some deer antlers, a stuffed boar head, and of course The Foxes in the window.
Second slap in the face was the beer menu which is 2 inches thick!!.
We decided to hold the menu, eyes closed, and randomly pick a page and point to a beer. Great fun.
A few rounds later we thought lets try outsmart the staff, we searched the most obscure beers on the list.. They were fresh, served within a few minutes, and in a correct labelled glass.
It gets busy during peak hour, have patience, or go outside of peak and chat with the staff.

A very nice small pub in the centre of Leuven. It has a large range of Belgium beers. Friendly staff and decent prices.

Small pub in Leuven with a huge selection of beers, service was good, prices are good, considering you pay 3.50 euro for most beers and on the ’’oude markt’’ you pay that for a Leffe, so ...
Definitely a place to go back to.

Nice pub at the center of Leuven. The waitress shows up quick to ask your orders. Nice blend of visitors, from students to elderly people, talking. More or less alternative music from the speakers, just my kind. It’s not too big and seems always busy.

Located in the center of Leuven.
Over 350 bottles at the moment for normal prices in Belgium(almost everything for €3,5). Service was good last time I checked in. Lovely barlady who has some knowledge of beers. Correct in service. A customers bottle was ’overspilling’ (is that a correct word?) so she couldn’t pour it with a good head. Therefor it was one on the house.
Not that large, but worth a visit. On summernights, you can enjoy on the small terrace.
