The food is excellent as it the service. However the beer selection, though large is very standard. You wonít find anything that you wont see a standard Belgium beer store. But if you are a tourist, its pretty decent.

Stopped for lunch. Decent beer list, mostly the usyal suspects, but a few gems. Had a nice geuze vat 44. Good service and nice menu. Will come again.

Nice beer garden. Decent selection of beer, nothing exciting though, more the normal Belgian selection which is good but readily available at most places. It is a restaurant though, and not a dedicated beer-place, so giving it that it is worth a visit if you want some good food with your dinner, perhaps just not for the beer alone.

Two floors makes it quite spacious. Itís also weel kept and clean. We asked for two glasses with one bottle but the boss said no. I file that under poor service along with the poor knowledge of beer. Good atmosphere, though. The selection is quite all right. Did not try the food. The patio looked nice, but it was too late in the evening to sit outaide.

Nice atmospheric place just off the beaten path. Cozy courtyard and traditional woody interior. Decent enough beer list. Food is above average. Worth a visit.

Good selection of beers, good atmosphere, but why I would recommend this is the food: some of the dishes are prepared with beer (the stew and rabbit for example) and it is delicious! Beware, they close early. We were there on a weekday, and, while it was still busy, the kitchen closed at 9 and they had everybody out at eleven.

Being springtime, the yard is a nice area; but I canít imagine eating in the dull high ceiling rooms during the bad season, it must feel like being the son of the servant in the past centuries. The beer list is quite extensive, for a restaurant itís definitively interesting; there are the classic, not the modern beers, but at least there are also a few lambics. The waitress didnít seem to enjoy her work.

Visited not for beers but for the food - the regional dishes. The rabbit cooked in Westmalle I had was excellent, and the cold cucumber soup hit the spot this warm evening. Good selection af beers on tap and a good bottle selection, even some of the hyped lambics like 3 Fonteinen was sold out until 2015 as the menu stated. Very good service from staff and the dimmed classic music in the courtyard gives this place a good ambiance. Worth a stop for beer related food, not for the selection of beers that are found better elsewhere in Antwerpen.

My first stop in Antwerp was here for some food and a couple of beers. While the list is not extensive youíd be hard pressed to come away without something that agrees with your palate. The prices for beer are very fair considering the location. Tucked away in a courtyard on a side street it also gives you a chance to get away from some of the hustle and bustle. If you still need a reason to come here I believe one of the beers on tap is an exclusive.
