Birrificio vicinissimo alla stazione ed alla zona a luci rosse. Birre discrete e personale simpatico.

Visited during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2015. Sparingly big esp. compared to the other locations that I visited during Carnivale Brettanomyces. It looks like an old theater bar dating back some decades. Quite an interesting vibe & look. Prices were very good especially compared to other places visited during my trip. They had about 10 beers going draft, I didnít inquire about bottles. Pretty much all of them where their own beers safe for one, they appear to vary quite a bit but sometimes they just rename beers from what I gathered. They offered samples if you got 3 at once. The problem here is that their beers are just not very good in my opinion. While they have an interesting atmosphere & good prices, their beers are just not very good unfortunately. You may want to swing by for some ticks but not for a nights drinking unless if you donít mind their beers.

A large and agreeable interior and outdoors tables in summer, serving De Prael beers from tap and bottle. The place to be for masterclasses during Carnivale Brettanomyces, apparently. Friendly people, relaxed atmosphere, very enjoyable place.

Visited during the Carnivale Brettanomyces festial. Spacious place with a nice decor, different styles mashed together. One of the staff seemed a bit irritable. Selection is satisfactory and prices are fair. Will probably visit again.

A stoneís throw from the red light district, this place is friendly and worth visiting for the beers and the good value food. I also like the companyís ethos of employing people who have overcome various mental health issues.

Stopped here for an organized lunch with the beercycling group. They actually opened up early for us, which was nice. The food came out on platters and everybody picked up what they wanted from the middle of the table. It was mostly bread, meats, and cheeses and you could build your own sandwich. Some interesting meat choices were there, with what looked like a raw beef paste being one of my favorites. I canít remember what they called that now, but it was really good. The beers they have here are all their own. They had 6 taps going while we were here, and offered several other beers in bottle. This is a decent place to come for a couple beers and a sandwich. Makes for a great lunch spot. Canít speak for dinner, unfortunately.

Pub by the brewery De Prael. 12 taps + selection of bottles. Some are very good, some miss the spot. However, overall itís a positive place.

A proeflokaal rather than a brewpub as the brewery is in a separate building at the back. Mezzanine floors allow it to be quite big. 8 regular drafts and a wisseltap sometimes. Own brews in bottle too. Fattening foods. Intrusive music. Nice decor, bang next to the Red Light district, so to speak.

Great ambiance with vintage decorations ranging from terrible kitsch to 50ies design. Very friendly service when I was there, and a nice selection of mostly their won beers op tap. Nice place to hop in and have a few beers if youíre in the neighbourhood.

Itís a lively place of an evening but is spacious enough to not be too busy. Itís got a very simple but good selection. The quality of the beer is very good. Really great value for the centre of Amsterdam. A shame that it closes so early!
