Stopped by for a few brews and some food. A nice smaller bar that got quite crowded as time went on. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed that they usually have a Kernel beer on tap as well as a number of casks and other taps. A nice number of Kernel bottles as well. Food was ok, but nothing special. Worth as top as it is right near Tower Bridge.

Was pretty bored and walking over Tower Bridge so figured I would stop by here for a drink. Super close to Tower Bridge on the opposite side to the city. Very close to Draft House. Anyway the service was great, very efficient and chatty. Selection was quite good. A good and varied range of everything, mainly local. Quite expensive though. Almost 7 quid for a pint of Kernel. Besides that the place is good for a quick stop

A cozy brown pub. The service was pleasant - the waitor had something calming and relaxing over him. The selection was good but not great. There was a little Kernel, Dark Star and Moor and a few rare beers as well.

We (me & Loz) visited here on Saturday 17th August, quite surprised that I have failed to visit here previously as it is certainly somewhere that can be taken in when visiting Kernel, Partizan and now Brew by Numbers on a Saturday, which incidentally we did today (visited all three) Back to the Dean Swift though. It is located on a side street in a mainly residential area a short walk from Tower Bridge. Inside the bar seating area is rectangular with the bar off to the left and rear as you enter. It is quite smart with a slightly classy feel about it. The lady who served was pleasant but I got the impression that I wasn’t going to get a great deal of friendly banter from her. One downside was the TV screnn with every customer coming in after us asking if it was going to show the Liverpool game, thankfully due to some BT subscription issue the games wasn’t going to be shown. I had a Signature Brew, Dry The River, Mammoth beer which was very nice, rather pleasing as it cost me £6 for the bottle, Loz had a Weird Beard 5 a Clock Shadow on tap. We just stayed for the one before heading off to the three Bermondsey breweries. I guess that I will likely return here again if in the area, the beer choice was pretty good, just wish it had a friendlier more accomodating feel about it, it just felt a little sterile.

Smallish pub in a backstreet just round from Tower Bridge. Pleasant interior. Good beer selection, casks and kegs, some variety of styles. Didn’t eat but food looked good. This area is good for eating and drinking and this pub is well worth a stop.

Visited this pub several times. Nice cosy pub, placed a bit from the main street ( over Tower Bridge ), but still easy to reach, walking around city center of London. Friendly staff, beers in good condtion and with some variaty as well. They do food here as well, but I havent´n eaten here yet. Being in this end of London, this pub is for sure worth visiting.

Excellent place tucked away in the backstreets behind The Draft House - although the Dean Swift’s craft beer range is arguably superior to its more visible neighbour, making this an essential visit. A small-ish corner pub with an airy, traditional feel and football on the TV. Knowledgeable service directs you through the range of approx 10 taps and plenty of bottles, including Kernel. Went for food too - traditional fare and my beer battered haddock and doorwedge chips was huge and delicious. Overall it’s hard to fault it.

I like this pub and i’m always happy to pay it a visit. Decent beers always available especially Kernel on Tap. It has a nice feel to the place and they seem to try hard.
