Was their with some friends and the owner was really the main reason i rated this place this high. He found us beers that weren’t for display and he was really passionate! Among other beers he offered us Boon vat44, some rare Cantillons and De Cam’s Frambois. This is in my eyes the best beer store in all of Brussels and really worth a visit. It has classic belgian beer as well as hipster american breweries.

The absolutely best beer shop in Brussels. Much better than the touristy places Beer Planet and Beer Mania. 20 seating places so it´s almost like a small pub. The owner is really passionate and knowledgeable and can discuss beer for hours. Nice selection with some really exclusive stuff. We tried some japanese lambic limited to 100 bottles each, Boon Vat 44 and some rare De Cam. Even some unusual american beers from Three Floyds and Stillwater. I will definitely be back next time i am in Brussels.

Small little bottle shop that isn’t the easiest to find. Small with some tables for drinking at. Good service, employees are eager to assist. Selection was just ok, didn’t really see anything out of the ordinary. Prices were average, maybe a bit cheaper than the super touristy places. I ended up walking out of here with nothing if that says anything.

Definitey a nice place to check out. Delices is a small place located east of the Grand Place. There’s probably only 100 beers to choose from, but the owner has put good care into the selection. There’s a decent amount of sours and other Belgian brews available at prices that are much more reasonable than somewhere like Bier Tempel. You’re welcome to drink beer in the shop, a nice feature. The service was very good, and the owner really seemed passionate about his selection. Overall, worth a visit.

Small place, but the reviews are right - Pierre is a connoisseur and very nice to talk to. Come here for the information and for hard-to find beers. If you want the touristy shops with lots of bottles, go somewhere else. If you want to learn something new, come here!

Pierre is a Zythologue, that’s for sure. In his shop he has some beauties and rarities which are quiet hard to find somewhere else. II agee with the most of the reviews, if you’re in Brussels, you must pop in that shop.

You got to love Pierre and his beer wisdom. He has been a great inspiration to me and has, over the years, opened my taste for different beers then the usual supermarket selection. I highly recommend this place for anyone new in Brussels.

There are three main beer stores in the heart of the touristy Brussels. The more popular Bier Tempel, this less busy Beer Planet and the more beer-geek-friendly Délices et Caprices. Bier Tempel has the less interesting beer selection and is aimed more at regular tourists because of its nice selection of gift boxes, glasswares and such. Beer Planet and Délices et Caprices both have a good selection. You can score some decent items (limited Struise, etc.). Beer Planet fun to shop at with its nice display with lots of wood. I was surprised to find some cool stuff there, even by my beer-geek standards. Some hard to find Fantômes (like Saint-Roch), all the current Struise Black Damnations variations and some obscure Saisons for me to tick. Etc. I did buy some stuff that appeared to be past their prime at Beer Planet so beware. Délices et Caprices appeared to have a smaller selection but more focussed on interesting stuff. The staff seem to be more knowledgeable and is probably the place to go if you want someone to guide you through you purchase. But I didn’t find anything interesting there that I hadn’t already bought at Beer Planet. The prices are typical downtown Brussels. If you cannot go shopping at cheaper good beerstores outside the city (Alvinne, etc.) then Beer Planet + Délices et Caprices are there for you. They are very close to each other and both are worth visiting.
