Unfortunately, I have to knock down my rating of this place. It used to be one of my favorites but has fallen from my grace. Simply put, they donít take care of their beer. More and more frequently, their drafts are soured and foul. I cannot abide by such nonchalance in beer maintenance. The bartenders all seem very knowledgeable about beer though which makes it all the more tragic that their beer is so poorly cared for. For the record, thereís one cute waitress there who totally wants me. I have dibs. Back off!
Original rating: Delilahís is always a good time. It might be a little loud for serious beer-tasting but itís a great place to drop by for a pint or ten of some tasty brews. The selection is excellent and I swear thereís more than six taps. Thereís also a good selection of whiskey too if your into that. Most nights have some sort of theme to them so you might want to avoid it on certain nights if you arenít willing to listen to some kind of a music or another. If you see a guy with shaggy hair and a flannel shirt alternating between fine Belgians and PBR, feel free to say hi. I donít bite.

2/21/15 - Excellent variety on tap and bottles, great selection of whiskey, nice bartenders, a bit pricey but not for the neighborhood. Overall great place to meet some friends and down some good beer and whiskey.

Loud and an amazing bar for bourbon (sorry... I donít go way the fuck up to the north side to a bar famous for its whiskey selection to drink the beer). Anyway, where else ya gonna find in this town where you can listen to the Ramones and Johnny Cash AND try enough bourbons to kill an elephant?

Delilahís is a Whiskey loversí dream. However, their staff and owner are also extremely knowledgable and into their beers. They run a yearly Barrel Aged tasting event and another that is dedicated to Sour/Lambic and I attended both for the first time this year. Good tap and bottle selections are usually available.

Visited twice in August 2013. The first time in the day time on the way to Kumas Too and then the second time a couple days later in the evening to get the umbrella that I left there the first time.
Totally different feel at night vs in the day. Both are a bit divey but much more rowdy at night. The bartenders are surprisingly nice considering how Toronado-esque this place is. Also conveniently located a couple doors down from Atlas Brewing. Delilahís has plenty of interesting beer to pick from but after trying some ticks the first trip I just had some All Day IPA the second time. Cool place, Iíll most likely stop back in at some point (probably while visiting Atlas).

finally made it here, came for the Lambic event... the event was pretty nice, a 99 Oude Gueze was the highlight, 2 Lou Pepeís, some other good stuff but a lot of stuff you can get at the store, the rare ones were worth the trip, a touch pricey though... outside of the even, its a nice place with some real character, bike bar for sure... the regular beers available were solid but you can get anywhere... tons of bourbon... come for the bourbon stay for a beer and character

I go here to drink bourbon and they have it all including a house brand. Beer is decent but with all the bourbon why bother.

Whats up with all the tourists bagging on Delilahs? If you want cookie cutter, theres plenty of that elsewhere in the city. Delilahs has a very respectable and broad beer list, and the largest bourbon selection in town. Look for the giant red Duvel sign outside, the beer geek bat-signal. Inside, check out the work of local artists, and an impressive display of bottles above the bar. When you first walk in, there is an awesome lit-up Oerbier sign (3-D doughboy from the De Dolle label) next to the second-floor door (pinball and pool upstairs). The atmosphere is decidedly noir, they were screening Halloween & Friday the 13th on my last October visit. Usually I end up here for the music, like the monthly Smiths night.
Ask for the bottle list to see the scope of their selection. Taps are good too, recently they added Chimay White for example. They donít rotate much, save for a seasonal or two. New Jolly Pumpkin bottes: Luciernaga and Bam on my last visit. I finished the night with a vintage Drie Fontienen Oude Gueuze. The vintage stuff has dwindled some in the last year, but itís still a rarity in this town...expect to pay accordingly. They also host seasonal vintage tastings several times a year.
Do yourself a favor and get a carryout pizza from Ginos down the street to bring over. Also worth a mention is the Home Tavern up the street. They have German taps if Delilahs is too crowded, and you donít mind a dive (not a beer bar).

Deliliahís is a punk bar. If youíre not into that scene, however, donít be shy. Itís loud, and can be crowded, but Iíve always felt right at home. Service is great, bartenders knowledgeable, beer selection wide and varied. Though Delilahís does have a great beer selection, this is a whiskey bar, so bring your ill-tempered whisky drinking friends along!

Delilahís is definitely a whiskey bar. However, they usually have some hard-to-find beers available. Staff knowledgeable. This is a true dive. For a more beer-friendly visit, check out the holiday beer tasting they have every December. Itís crowded, but a good way to sample many vintages of holiday ales.
