I fell into the trap that everyone tries to alert you here. I went to Delirium during a very very very busy Saturday night. The score I give above can easily reach a maximum level if I visit it again during the quiet week.
It was packed with drunk kids and students. It took me 20 min to get a beer from the bar (the barman was very friendly). Big selection I guess, but at that time I had no time to look it up. Very decent prices. I think during the week it will be a great experience. for sure next time I will go to the hoppy loft above, cause down there they do not serve much from IPA, Stout beers. For sure a must for a beer geek.

Not what I remember from 7 years ago. Very loud and crowded with lots of tourists and young people. When we went back on Saturday it was less crowded but still noisy. The four five first beers we wanted was not available. Will probably not go back next time in Brussels.

Revisited after ten years or so and the rumours proved correct: very crowdy an loud, with a lot more drunken tourists than ten years ago. Prices are reasonable. I don’t buy their claim of selling over 2000 beers: I tried to order four of them, but none was available, though I cannot exclude the possibility of the bartender just not being prepared to go look for them. He eventually gave up and simply ignored me, after which another one proved a bit more helpful and went into the store room to look for the beers I had in mind. He came back with four other ones but at least made an attempt to help me, contrary to the other one who was clearly more interested in getting some young women drunk, with crappy Huyghe beers from tap of course, the only thing you can order there without being frowned upon by some unfriendly and unprofessional bartender. The fact that there is no table service here doesn’t really bother me, but the quality of service is clearly a lot below average. They practically threw me out at closing time (I was the last customer), back into the tourist mass outside. The only reason for me going back there is the extremely long beer list; if you’re not looking for anything special, stay out of this place.

Visited on a busy Saturday night, managed to get a seat near the bar and door of this huge cafe bar.
Decent range of beers with guests although some had run out and board not updated. A mixed clientele in there and very noisy, also baking hot in there.
Different beers were available to other places in Brussels so worth a look, maybe try earlier on in the day.

Chill beer geek paradise during the day, loud, joyfull place during evening/nights. Been there for about 50 times now, and everytime they have new stuff on tap, next to their great bottle selection... Just an amazing place for every young beer enthousiast.
TO EVERYONE VISITING BRUSSELS, give me a heads up, I’d love to trade/share some bottles!

Aye, what to say about this place. I’m glad I finally went, because it is a landmark in the beer world. That being said, it’s pretty much a shit cafe I’d be happy never to return to again. The atmosphere is gross even when it isn’t busy (hot, musty, smelly and dirty). Service is extremely uninterested at best, prices are high and selection is boring. Sooo, maybe finish off your evening sharing a few pints with a bachelor party after going to the real (beer geek) world class bar in Brussels. Hurm hurm.

Didnt like this place to much. Way to crowded, hot and noisy in the evenings, but ok to visit for some ticks in the afternoon just after opening time. About 30 beers on tap, ranging from poor to good in quality. Most wellkept, but served much to cold and rather overcarbonated. Possible to buy 16cl samplers for 2€. Service was fine.
