Visited on a busy Saturday night, managed to get a seat near the bar and door of this huge cafe bar.
Decent range of beers with guests although some had run out and board not updated. A mixed clientele in there and very noisy, also baking hot in there.
Different beers were available to other places in Brussels so worth a look, maybe try earlier on in the day.

Chill beer geek paradise during the day, loud, joyfull place during evening/nights. Been there for about 50 times now, and everytime they have new stuff on tap, next to their great bottle selection... Just an amazing place for every young beer enthousiast.
TO EVERYONE VISITING BRUSSELS, give me a heads up, I’d love to trade/share some bottles!

Aye, what to say about this place. I’m glad I finally went, because it is a landmark in the beer world. That being said, it’s pretty much a shit cafe I’d be happy never to return to again. The atmosphere is gross even when it isn’t busy (hot, musty, smelly and dirty). Service is extremely uninterested at best, prices are high and selection is boring. Sooo, maybe finish off your evening sharing a few pints with a bachelor party after going to the real (beer geek) world class bar in Brussels. Hurm hurm.

Didnt like this place to much. Way to crowded, hot and noisy in the evenings, but ok to visit for some ticks in the afternoon just after opening time. About 30 beers on tap, ranging from poor to good in quality. Most wellkept, but served much to cold and rather overcarbonated. Possible to buy 16cl samplers for 2€. Service was fine.

Visited in 2011. Very crowded all evening but we managed to get a space at the bar. Service was quite fast despite the crowd. Wide selection of beers.

... and very quickly checked out. This place is simply some bloody hell on wheels. You need to use both elbows quite effectively to get in, and once you are there, no one notices you, but that comes hardly as a surprise as the noise of muzak is positively deafening. The temperature inside is 37 degrees, as hordes of more-than-merry youngies and tourists from all over the world have gathered here, presumably with the wacky view to tasting all the 2000-odd beers on offer (no time to check if that is true). No food except for nibbles. Not cheap, and they probably know it. I hurried, ehm... stormed my way out with a strong resolution never to return.
