Service depends a bit on the bartender. But all of them are friendly, and show a good notion of beer knowledge.
Selection is quite nice, always some new foreign beers on tap.
It’s a lot more quiet in there then the downstairs delirium cafe.
Prices are high (9,9 euro for a Hel en Verdoemnis), but when you drink on tap, it’s ok.
Beer geeks should definitly go over there and have a look ;)

This is one of my favorite places to return to for trying new beers. The basement bar can get a little crazy for my tastes, but the Hoppy Loft is more subdued while still maintaining a good level of energy. I was surprised that the prices were more reasonable that expected for such a tourist place. There are only few places in Brussels to try good beer "samplers", and at the Hoppy Loft you can buy one for only 6 euros. Since they frequently rotate their taps, that means that in two visits, I’ve tried Hophorn, Blackhorn, Abstrakt AB:06, Anderson Vally 20th Anniv. Imperial IPA, Snake Dog, and Creme Brulee Stout for a total of only 12 euros! A great selection of rare and impressive imports is also available, but at expectedly higher prices. Also, the Hoppy Loft is a great place because it appeals to both beer lovers and drinkers looking for easy-drinking beers and a fun atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone in Brussels.

Alright, this place is a key stop to soak up some brews from other parts of the world. sebletitje and I arrived at a time when other spots are packed but here it was initially about half full. It has a nice mellow atmosphere and friendly and helpful bartenders. There were some cool Hornbeers on tap as well Abstrakt 06, giddy-up, I’m all set. I grabbed the three glass sampler of these beers that are six ounce pours and only cost six euros. Great deal! Also something like 98% of the bottle list is available for purchase and take with you. This would be a regular stop if I lived around here.

More relaxed, modern and civilized than the downstairs, noisy Delirium, the loft must be exactly what a Belgian beer geek longed for his country to have - a great access to imports. As a non-Belgian, the selection of draughts from the USA, Italy, Denmark and what not is still interesting, but when you’re in Belgium, you’re mostly there to try Belgian beers. Therefore, upstairs is a nice break from downstairs’ craziness, but not quite as interesting as the more Belgium-focused selection that you find at a place like Moeder Fontainas. The expensive price tags also contribute to making one leave quickly.

The basement was too crowded for my taste, so to go up to the loft and enjoy good beer in more peaceful surrondings was wonderful. Great beer menu.

I would question if this place has right to exist separately from the one downstairs... This is the bar for import beers mainly; on tap there may be something interesting; also large choice of bottles, but with crazy price. Less noisy and busy than downstairs, I would recommend taking some beers from downstairs and moving upstairs to enjoy them.

The most valuable place in " delirium village " ; even though the staff is not always up to the task ( I mean, they don’t have the knowledge about most of the beers they have on the menu. ) The good point is precisely the beer menu, with lots of micro-breweries from all over the world , with some very rare beers ...

Great selection of imports for Belgium and often some good Belgian stuff too on draft (Struise). The most pleasant of all the Deliriums to spend time in as it is less crowded and less like a youth club. Staff were very helpful, have always had a nice relaxing time here, although it feels weird to drink imported beer in Belgium!

A cool addition tot he Delirium Café, with loads of US and Danish offerings, nice tap selection, excellent RB friendly service (Merci, Bart!), and some rarities. Close to Beer Planet, if you want to buy some beer. Sampler is a good deal, 3 X 170 ml for 6 euros.
