Stopped in here for a late night session. Pretty spacious place located in a courtyard off a busy street. The tap selection’s almost entirely Belgian, as is the bottle list. This isn’t a bad thing, but we didn’t really travel to Copenhagen to drink Westmalle. The service was kind. The prices were fair. Overall, it might be a look in if you’re in the area, but I don’t see this as an essential stop for the visiting beer tourist.

Visited several times, more in the past than lately. The very first beertasting I attended was here, where Rene was doing the tasting. There is are bar downstairs and restaurant is upstairs, in summertime, there are outdoor seatings. Friendly service, cosy atmosphere and a nice selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles as well. They do some rather nice food as well, often with beer involved..

Pub with restaurant near Kgs. Nytorv. Mainly beers from Belgium on taps. Nice selection that is changing from time to time. In the restaurant it is possible to have a 5 course menu with a special beer to each course.

The beer oasis of Copenhagen and better still they make and serve food with specially selected beer/food combinations! Even if you are not heavily into beer the bartenders were always happy to assist in the selection process. The food in the restaurant was great, well presented and just the right portion size for 2, 3 or 4 course dining with or without the suggested beer accompaniment. Thy even have a cook book that lets a few secrets out, especially how they make some of the best bread I ever tasted. Service in restaurant even included a visit from the chef to introduce the food!

Nice place and a good selection of belgian beers. Friendly and helpful staff, can’t wait to try the food next time I’m there.

Nice selection of the major Belgian brews but hardly any rotation. They do however sometimes get some special imports but they also remember to have you pay for it. Yeastie boys cost 75 DKR for 33 cl. Food was great but pricy as well. Service was mediocre.

Et utsøkt sted med nydelig mat i herlige kombinasjoner med nydelige og spennende øl. Superb og kunnskapsrik betjening som serverer deg med stolthet og entusiasme. Flott å sitte i bakgården på sene sommerkvelder. Et must for alle som elsker belgiske øl!

Slightly hard to find to find at first as it’s located within a courtyard back from the main busy streets. This is a good thing, as what you find is some peace and tranquility away from the busy surroundings, and a lovely calm outside space for a warm and sunny day. Service is friendly and helpful. The main beer focus seems to be on the Belgian stuff, not something for me due to living near Belgium, but good if that’s what you’re looking for. Still, there’s other non-Belgian beers to be found.

Very good selection of Belgian Beers with many of the classics in their lineup. They had a few New Zealand bottles when I visited along with a little German and Italian on tap as well. If you’re looking for a cozy place to drink the classic Belgians, this is the place to go in Copenhagen.
