One of the first really serious beer bars in Copenhagen. Always interesting Belgian beers both on tap and bottled and then their bartenders very well informed. The restaurant on the first floor is super and can certainly recommend

cozy and intimate setting for the garden-level bar, they offer about a dozen taps with highlights being St Georgen Brau Landbier and De La Senne Zinnebier. modest bottle list has nothing extremely rare but the quality is there. after reporting that one of their Belgian golden ales was in bad shape, the bartenders were quick to agree, replaced the keg, and comped the beer. that’s service.

Mostly belgian beers, the good ones. Staff very welcoming, choice of music is spot on. Didn’t eat but I heard that it is very good. Cool place for locals, but less interesting for a tourist here to taste danish beers (like myself).

Nice place if you "need" some Belgian beers. Good selection. Great atmosphere and food.

Meget kompetent betjening og et godt udvalg af klassiske og sjældne øl fra øllets moderland. Maden er god og stemningen autentisk.

Bar, restaurant and yard. Nice dark bar with 16 taps and I guess 70 bottled beers. Restaurant with 3 rooms in the first floor. Food served with beer in the dishes. Yard quiet and nice. Beers a basically Belgian but sometimes a Swedish beer might be served as well. Staff is friendly, quickly and knows their stuff. Lately the selection of beers, both on tap and bottled beers, have deteriorated. The place seems to stick to the old and well known brands. Not a cheap place.

If you are in the Nyhavn area this is probably your best pick. Mostly belgian brews from taps and bottles.

A nice pub Copenhagen with and oldfashion feeling. I´ll be back for sure :-)

The name “den tatoverede enke” means “the tattooed widow” and, as a tattooed widow might, the bar keeps itself tucked away – not easy to find, it’s in a yellow ochre courtyard off Gothersgade at the Kongens Nytorv end. There’s a small bar downstairs, quite unadorned apart from a periodic table of beer, and there’s a restaurant upstairs which I understand serves very good food with beer pairings. When we were there, just before the Copenhagen Beer Festival, the restaurant was hosting a De Dolle evening – at one point the De Dolle brewer appeared on the stairs with a bow tie even bigger and brighter than usual. There’s a good selection of mainly Belgian beers, including a few on draft. (Last visited 25 May 2011).
