78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 Camons (129) Hasselager, Denmark | March 6, 2012 Big industrial / varehouse kindof building, large outdoor beer garden. Huge bar and a good amount of seating inside. Huge crowd when i visited, whenever it was the superb sunny early marts wheather, the live music or the beer had people coming. 7 beers on tap, good sized samples at 1$ each, decent to good quality. Nice service and pairly priced. Would like to come back a less crowded time. | 80 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 17/20 natejgood (3) Denver, Colorado | February 26, 2012 The selection of beer varies daily and just depends on when you stop in. The space is comfortable and a good spot to hang out, and the beer garden out in front is perfect on a warm day or night. While you might not always find the beer you are looking for here, you will probably find something that strikes your fancy and the beers are well made. Check this spot out if you haven’t done so already. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 15/20 Strebs (104) St. Louis, Missouri | February 5, 2012| Updated September 26, 2012 We had a wonderful experience here. The brewer is trying different takes on classic styles. Being a scotch whisky lover, I really enjoyed the Scottish ale brewed with peated barley. They had a glass of the stuff on the bar for the patrons to take a sniff from. It was nice to compare the aroma to a glass of Laphroaig at My Brother’s Bar down the street. I was very amused when the brewer mentioned that people were complaining about the taste of iodine in the Scottish ale, when that is the hallmark of peat that contained seaweed from an estuary source. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 16/20 craftbeerdesign (100) Alpharetta, Georgia | November 29, 2011| Updated September 26, 2012 new small brewery near the football stadium / aquarium with a big indoor / outdoor tasting room. they offer sampler trays or $1 per taster as well as full pints. they have pretzels for sale. service was slow for me. beer is good. nice bathrooms. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 BeerandBlues2 (458) Hanover, Maryland | November 5, 2011| Updated September 26, 2012 This is nice, open air brewery/bar in Denver. While they did not sell food, they did have a food truck offering some pretty good food on a busy Friday night during GABF week. The beers are fresh and are rotating quickly. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 onceblind (66) Denver, Colorado | November 5, 2011| Updated September 26, 2012 Disclosure: I love this place. It’s bigger than any upstart brewery has the right to be, but if you come at the right time it gets pretty packed. Long bar with plenty of seats, lots of tables inside and on the patio, with a garage door-wall that opens when the weather permits. Service is exceptional and very knowledged. Beer can occasionally be disappointing, but that kinda comes with their territory of constantly experimenting. Each batch is a single experimental batch, so there’s only an off-chance you will ever see that same beer again. Ive been 4 times and the 6-beer tap list was different each time. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 alagnak (51) Littleton, Colorado | October 26, 2011| Updated September 26, 2012 Great new spot near the river, a couple of blocks north of My Brothers Bar. Old converted garage, as others mentioned, they open the doors in the summertime. Long tables outside, laid back atmosphere. All the beers I’ve tried have been solid, though, being quite new the first few visits, they were out of at least a couple of their beers each time. Should note that they are closed Mondays. | 86 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 adnielsen (325) Fort Collins, Colorado | September 11, 2011| Updated November 11, 2011 I really enjoy this new brewery. Their rotate their taps quite often and their beers so far have been quality products. The atmosphere is pretty cool- this summer they’ve had the garage doors open and let the fresh air inside. It could get a little toasty here in the summer but I’ve never had a problem when I’ve been there. I’d definitely recommend it to be a part of a Denver brewery/beer tour. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 15/20 Ratman197 (125) Arvada, Colorado | August 28, 2011| Updated November 11, 2011 Nice well lit converted garage. Nice open feel,no packed togather tables. The service is quick, but don’t run a tab even at the bar unless you’re willing to have them swipe your credit card and hang on to it. The pre swiping your card makes me worry about credit card or ID theft) So far usually about 6 to 7 beers on tap all different so decent selection. Average prices a little on the high side but not terrible. Worth checking out at least once. |
