Sunday evening in August, this place had a decent crowd despite the placeís somewhat obscure location north of downtown. The bartender was attentive and knowledgeable, and the three beers I tried were all well above average. The open-aired tasting room was a great spot to finish my trip to Denver. Will be back. This place has a good selection of beers for a brewery, but none of them really blow me away! Fortunately for them, they have one of the best locations in Denver! Unfortunately that means itís always busy! Staff is friendly and the ambiance is great. Another great place to hang out on a nice sunny Colorado afternoon!

large warehouse location with quite a few beers on tap. unfortunately, a few chili beers. beer quality on the whole was subpar, but that didnít stop the place from being packed on a wednesday night. lots of seating inside (high tops and the bar) and outside (picnic tables). service was okay as we just ordered taster trays at the bar. wouldnít mind coming back for the atmosphere and the ticks, but itís not a place iíd care to really drink the beer.

Nice brewery near the aquarium in Denver. Decent selection of their beers on tap - around 10 or so. Samples were nicely priced.

I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and the large taproom as well as the large patio were bustling with people. The bartenders were working bar efficiently, which wasnít too difficult as there were four on staff. I had the rauchbier and their fresh hopped IPA which were both pretty good. A food truck was outside which is always handy to have. But it was labeled authentic Mexican tortas and they were selling Americanized Tex Mex sandwiches, but that is a totally different rant and not relevant to Denver Beer Company. I got a growler of the fresh hop and was happy with that. This was a very solid visit and one of the busier breweries Iíve been to

Itís hard to beat the ambiance here with a huge patio and a pretty big space inside which is open in the summer. The beer selection is fine but none of the beers really grab me. Itís always a dilemma because I love to hang out here but I know that Iím in for mediocre beers.

Visited November 2012.
Nice location right by the river, in a nice neighborhood, and walkable from down town. This should be a nice place but the service didnít seem to care about serving me. I didnít stick around all that long as a result. The atmosphere was enjoyable though so long as you donít have to order a drink. This seems to be another automotive type business thatís been repurposed into a brewery (like Renegade and Hogshead) which works because they have a lot of windows letting in a lot of light and allowing customers to look outside rather than be confined to the dank dark smoke filled bar. The beers were all at least decent with the Summit Sunrise being my favorite followed by the graham cracker porter. It was interesting that they had two different pumpkin beers on tap.

As far as a place to hang out, this is one of the best that Denver has to offer. Based in an old auto body repair shop, the space is just really striking. Itís all open air during the summer and boasts a great beer garden. The beers are fairly average, but the venue makes it well worth a visit.

This place is in a great location, right in the action in lower downtown and within walking distance to Lo-Hi. Pretty large and a lot of outdoor seating. It tends to get really crowded and the scene is very young, so get there earlier than later. Usually 6-7 beers on tap, but the beer is really just mediocre, at best. I think they have room to improve, but have been OK so far. I am excited to see them grow.
