Really nice building that we stumbled on while walking around Munich. Numerous Hacker Pschorr taps and bottle selections not available in the United States. The atmosphere and interior design were absolutely beautiful - lighting, seating, woodwork, you name it. Striking. The beer was equally delicious, and of course, proper glassware for each selection. Recommended.
We came here early October 2015. Located next to Viktualienmarkt. A very big brewery restaurants with a high ceiling, giving the place a good ambience. Beers are very decent. Of course another touristy and commercial place, which I like more than many of the others. Service was also slightly more welcoming than in the other Munich beer restaurants. We will come back.
I went here with my wife after a trip around the market. We had lunch with a drink. They serve several Pschorr beers, I enjoyed the dunkel. The food was ok but the main feature was the extremely rude waiter who only didn’t snarl at us on the many occasions he was ignoring us, just being painfully slow and then very derogatory when he spoke to us. I wouldn’t be inclined to go here again.
A large, airy and beautiful restaurant on a corner of Viktualienmarkt. Very good quality Bavarian food. The beer is of good quality but as is normal in Bavaria - not much variation is offered (Helles, Dunkel, Weiss, I think they have a Pils, a variation on the Helles and a seasonal beer). The service is very good for Munich and I take all foreign visitors here. A great place to visit for tourists as well as locals and expats.
