If I lived in Montreal I’d be here all the time, which happens to be the case with many Montrealers. Lots of interesting beers on tap you could never really get bored as they switch it up quite a bit and all are good to AMAZING. I was excited to see the Peche Mortel in a one year aged bottle and it was certainly mind blowing. The thing that’s even better is that all the beers are pretty cheap too! You can choose half-pint, pint, or sample size... depending on the particular style that you choose. Laid back atmosphere. It wasn’t too busy when we went as it was during Mondial and still pretty early in the evening but that was to our advantage as the beers are cheaper at that time and it wasn’t overly smoky which I’m told is a major problem when it’s packed in there...since EVERYONE in Montreal/Quebec smokes. I had a Fairmount bagel with cheese and smoked salmon - that was superb! This is simply a must visit for anyone.

Small pub with wooden chairs and tables. Attractive. 10 beers on tap including one guest tap. Moderately priced and good service. Only smokey when I was smoking. Had a jambon sandwich which was large and pretty good for a snack. A nice visit.

Amazinlgy cozy, clean, classy and unpretentious corner bar. I had picturd a huge, fancy, adorned all brass and what-not brewpub, but this had a wonderful, intimate feel. Smaller selection, but still respectable, with some unique styles on. Didnt try the food. Taking a tour of the brewing facility, it is by far the most immaculate facility I have ever seen. Good prices, samplers available, friendly bar tenders. Can’t think of a bad thing to say about this place, except that it’s 6 hours away from me!

Nice ambiance and good selection of very well made craft brews. The service could’ve been much better, but the beer is the reason I came in the first place. If you go to Montreal make sure to stop here.

Truely the flagship brewpub here in Montreal, it sets the standard for quality, with an awesome lineup of rotating brews, some of them deserving world class status. It’s not perfect by any means, notably because of overcrowding with local hipsters, wait staff that can’t always handle the crowds, and cigarette smoke. It’s still very much worth it and is my usual Beer-geek hideout. Check out the pictures of breweries hung on the walls, the paintings on the ceiling, the brewing equipment through the glass windows and the bottles over the bar. The grub offered is alright, I usually go for the bagel and lox. Québec ciders and other local products are available.

The beers speak for themselves. This is a must-visit for the beer geek... Go early. They open at 3pm. It gets very smokey in the evenings. Service is friendly but generally too busy to chat. Ambiance is conducive to chatter and enjoyment. The bar itself is not extremely attractive but seems to exude a convivial atmosphere. The food is passable bar food. It’s not a place to have a meal, but if you want to soak up a bit of the alcohol it certainly does the trick. Worth visiting when in Montreal defintiely. Worth planning a trip to Montreal just to visit... maybe.

Pay a visit as early as you can if you just want to enjoy some fine beer without the distraction of crowds or smoke. Prices are reduced until 7:00, as well. The music was eclectic and somewhat loud when I visited one mid-week afternoon in the summer, but the brewpub was neither busy nor smoky, with a nice breeze coming in from outside and bright, sunny windows. The website (which offers a bit more information on the French side) maintains a current list of beers on tap, and two large boards announce the available beers in the brewpub itself. They were only offering around five beers when I visited, but these included the Déesse Nocturne and the stunning Péché Mortel. I can understand how someone could be disappointed if none of the best beers were available, but c’est la vie.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Not too busy, but bustling place. Had about 8 or 9 beers on tap along with one on cask as well. Service was decent. Ambiance was nothing special. Bright place with plenty of windows and a nice music volume. Lots of chairs and tables and a small bar with a couple stools. Was not impressed with the menu or the food. Small menu and the &quo;Nachos&quo; are just Tostitos with some grated cheese thrown in a toaster oven for a couple minutes for the mere price of $7. Great beer, but would stay away from the food.

This is the best place I went to in Montreal. Lots of great beer at this brewpub, and overall just a fun and simple place to hang out. I recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal. Really high quality beers.
