I visited this brewpub on a thurs evening. It was crowded (but places to sit did exist) and noisy. I sat at the bar and tried each of the beers they had available. They offered an impressive list of interesting beer styles. The food offerings were very limited and the service was acceptable but not great.

The best brewpub in Montreal, hands down. Top quality beers, friendly staff and some nice food-- the best time to visit is late afternoon. Though it gets crowded late at night, if you can find a corner and post up for the night, you’ll really be living. Regular releases of world class beers are available regularly.

Went here a couple times over a few days. The atmosphere was laid back and fun on a Wednesday night. Thursday was loud and crowded with a much larger crowd. Of course the beer is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable. An excellent brewpub. Abosolutely deserves the praise it recieves. About as good as a brewpub gets.

Terrific beer. Wide range of styles. Excellent service. Fun, laid back, atmosphere. Staff is friendly. Small menu, but the food is high quality. Enjoy every visit. Unlike all other brewpubs in Montreal, the smoke generated by the "smoke-happy" patrons is sucked up by a great ventilation system. By far, the best brewpub in Montreal. If I owned a pub, this would be it!

Have been to this place so many times and every time I LOVE it.....such a great ambiance, incredibly nice people and absolutely tremendous beers....met the owners and brewer several times and this is just an incredible place....did I mention I love this place.....The food selection is not great, not much choice but it is very good (try the salmon bagle) but hey it is a bar not a restaurant. First bar I visit when I’m in Montreal...and I will keep going back!!! Absolutley recommended..

Warm inviting brewpub. Fresh impressive brews on tap. Didn’t have any food, too busy feeding my tastebuds the good ales. The bar staff is very friendly, helpful and fast. Prices are great and plenty of choices for a brewpub. A must in Montreal.

This is the place. For me it’s the best brew pub in Motreal. The beers are the top rated, the staff are friendly and informative. The ambience is cosy. The only thing I can fault it on is the food, but your not there for that, it’s the beer and that is the best.

Went in with tons of expectations and they were met and exceeded. In essence, it is just a big room with a bar tucked away on one end and ample seating, all with some glass windows overlooking the vats. Service top notch, beers excellent, and the cheese plate, while pricy, was fantastic - I munched on it for 2 hours and didn’t eat the rest of the day. Only complaint was the smoke, but that will be taken care of soon enough. Great music selection (sounded like my personal MP3 mix). Can’t wait to go back.

I visited for the first time in the winter of 2004 and it became the place (bar, brewpub, restaurant, etc ...) that I frequently visite mostly in Montreal (if not in all of Quebec). The place is a very comfortable and warm, even if there is alot of people (Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, unless there’s hockey), and the servers are very socialbles and know their products. There is even a good chance to meet two of the four owners, and they are very nice. What they have always been interesting, especially since the opening of their brewery in St. Jerome in autumn 2007, which allows to have a larger selection. Is to discover and rediscover!

Enough said below. I prefer comming here in the afternoon, which is a rare moment for me, as visiting family when in Montreal. No smoke (or little). Divine beers, and decent snacks.
