A rustic room with the brewing equipment visible. Patio outside, friendly and efficient service when we visited. Amazing to see more than a dozen people in line before they opened for service. Lots of good beers available, some of them world class. Downside, there’s lots of smoke and smell from the kitchen. Upside, free Wi-Fi.

Got here at the open time on a Sunday and could tell right away I was glad to not be here at prime time as the tables are nearly on top of each other. I could definitely see how this place might be packed on a Saturday night. They also had seating outside. Good food and drink. The menu was in French but the waitress was very helpful.

Must visit place in Montreal. Small and crowded. Don’t be surprised if you’ll have to wait for a table. Noisy, but service is great and fast. Selection limited to DDC, but if you’re lucky (like we were) and get there for a night of Peche Mortel, including vintages from 2008, it’s beer heaven. Food is limited, but good quality. Prices are fair, especially when you get vintages at the same price as regular taps. Samplers are decent size. If only every brewpub was like this.

Lovely neighbourhood brewpub serving the excellent Dieu du Ciel beers. I visited two times, most recently yesterday (Saturday) afternoon at opening and spent a leisurely 3 or so hours enjoying the beers. The space is surprisingly small with tables and chairs crammed in to accommodate a decent number of patrons. As expected, it was busy right from opening, and it wasn’t long before people were waiting for tables to free up. The six beers I tried were no doubt above average, with the two stouts and Moralité being excellent. The waitress was friendly, prompt and handled the bustling crowd efficiently. Not that it needs to be said again, but a must visit in Montreal.

Small pub with a deck out front. Everything available in tasters, which is a nice touch, Extremely reasonable pricing. I didnt eat but looked like some great options. Our server brought us the wrong beer a few times, but was overall pretty good. Great spot, worth the trek from downtown.

Excellent brewpub, smaller than I expected. Try their own superb beers in their home environment.

Small pub quite popular so be sure to arrive early if you want to be seated, especially if you’re a big group. Our group of 10 were lucky enough to arrive early and get a great isolated place on the back. The service was really good at this place, fast and accurate. The beer selection is pretty good especially for a huge DDC fan like me I was delighted to be able to drink their on tap beer selection. Food was ok, considering this is more a brew pub than a restaurant. The price of beer is reasonable. Will sure go again.
PS: If you’re a hop head like and never had Moralité before (I drink it almost on a regular basis), then you must have it there, you won’t be disappointed.

I suppose this is the Mecca of Montreal beer places. A worthy entry for place rating #1000.
Admittedly, I was anticipating a larger location, but it works. Overall very inviting and comfortable feel, even with the crowd. We found a couple empty spots at the bar fairly quickly, which was nice/lucky.
The staff were very friendly and quick on getting beers out. They do taster pours of all the beers as well as full glasses. I opted to try as many of the new beers as possible, of course. Taster prices are pretty reasonable. Full pour size depends on the type/strength of the beer.
There were about 16 things on tap during our visit, and a lot of them were new to me. Most of the beers were pretty great, which is something I could not necessarily say about other breweries in town. Admittedly a few I didn’t care for that much.
They do some food as well, but it’s a bit of a limited menu. That said, we opted for some nachos, which were pretty good. Some sandwiches and such.
Not much more to be said here given the acclaim they already receive. Come here.
