94 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 19/20 Peanutski (1) Cincinnati, Ohio | January 30, 2013 Great beer and wine selection, with many hard to find on draft including Chimay Blanche. Family friendly with knowledgable staff, and good food. A hidden gem on the east side of Cincinnati. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 mikem409 (161) bloomfield, Michigan | January 1, 2013 Good burger and mussels. Nice beer and wine selection | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 Chudwick (59) Taylor Mill, Kentucky | November 23, 2012 Ambiance was a tad snooty, but not stuffy. Server was courteous but not too knowledgeable. Food was decent but a little overpriced. Bottles were decently priced but not the food. Will go back for a few food items but left with all the beer I wanted (4 bottles and two drafts). | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 b3shine (179) Cincinnati, Ohio | April 19, 2012| Updated May 22, 2013 Good spot. Great food, good service, and great beer. I really like it; it’s a real local gem.
Update: still a good spot, but not the same without Peanut behind the bar. | 74 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 Drewsky (12) Cincinnati, Ohio | February 15, 2012| Updated May 22, 2013 The selection is very good!! Had trouble getting someone to help me with some beer information. One of the best selections in the city!! | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 rondphoto (31) Lakeside Park, Kentucky | December 17, 2011| Updated May 22, 2013 Large main dining room looks a little uninviting, but looks were deceiving. Big beer selection; Peanut (our server and beer "master") did a remarkable job steering us to new "favorite" beers. A bonus was the live music (jazz keyboard and female singing ballads) that was well performed and never in the way of conversation. The fact that we spent a fast four hours there says it all. Cincinnati needs more places like this | 82 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 amg800 (38) Ada, Michigan | August 3, 2011| Updated May 22, 2013 This place was great. My wife and I recently moved to Cincinnati and went on a warm night to check it out. They’ve got outside seating with a decent belgian selection. The food was also really good, I would definitely try the beer cheese dip. What I really liked about this place is the bottle selection. Primarily belgian style bottles but some good 6packs as well. I’m looking forward to my next trip. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 16/20 AndyReynolds (51) Wilder, Kentucky | July 4, 2011| Updated May 22, 2013 Nice place to get a pint and try some different beers. Not too big of a selection (compared to Party Source, Party Town, etc...), but what they do have is good. Friendly staff, very knowledgable on wine, but lacking a little on the beer. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 MikeF (204) Cleveland, Ohio | June 6, 2011| Updated May 22, 2013 Nice, somewhat trendy deli with a small, but concentrated bottle selection in the back. Overall, a solidly above average bottle selection with average prices. Little if any refridgerated bottles. They have 14 or so drafts a couple of which are hard to find or regional specials. The food is very good and the prices are appropriate. Service was great until it got crowded...
A nice stop for a sandwich and great beer. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 DragonStout (96) Pickerington, Ohio | April 30, 2011| Updated May 22, 2013 This was a nice stop for us on a Saturday afternoon. The food was good and the beer selection was more than adequate. They also had a beer store in the back of the store which was a suprise. They probaly had at least 100 different brews to choose from.A very lazy, laid back atmosphere which translated to slow service.Overall a must stop if you are looking for a non bar atmosphere. |
