Holy crap. This place is just ridiculous. I was having sensory overload from the vast sea of beers. If that wasnít enough, the prices are lower than any place that Iíve ever done beer shopping with perhaps the exception of Greenís in Atlanta. I would say this is the Greenís of the north somehow with more imports. I picked up some rare stuff here and a bottle of Pravda which included a martini glass for my roommate for only 21.99.

Tremendous store! Great selection of glassware, and an unbelievable selection of beers, including many high quality / hard to find brews. This is on my very short list of best beer stores Iíve been to!

One of my favorite stores to visit when in the Midwest - great selection of most midwestern micros (new glarus, bells, founders, etc.) - they also tend to get stuff from the west coast before others in the area (I saw quite a few fish tale beers there last time) - their imports really arenít any better than most other stores in the area, but when Iím out of state Iím mostly interested in regional micros anyway, and this place has those by the truckload.

ya know, this place is good, but it definately is not the best liquor store in WI. I would say that rileys or woodmans on the west side of madison takes the cake here. THe place was crowded as hell-people constantly bumping into me. the staff was somewhat friendly but didnít really care. Selection is lacking in belgians but doing very well for midwest micros.

This place blew my mind. With only $25 cash in hand, I was crushed to not have more. I took much deliberation to get out of their alive. As much as I wanted to just curl up on the floor and cry, I settled on the two most recent New Glarus Unpluggeds and a Cantillon Cuvee de Champions. The wall of beer is endless, well priced, and ample. JUST FUCKIN’ STOP HERE ALREADY!

Stopped in here a few times on our Milwaukee trip. Doesnít look the best from the outside but a bit nicer inside and well organized. Great service, very helpful. Selection is outstanding, lots of local, mid-west and other great micros and imports. Value is great, nothing seemed overpriced. This is a must stop if in Milwaukee.

Visited in June í05. Excellent selection of Wisconsin micros and imports. At least 250 different bottles if I had to guess. Picked up a few new countries - Albania, Bosnia, and Switzerland. Very moderately priced - most common imports - less than $2. Only complaint - not enough micros from surrounding states - Michigan - Three Floyds? - Only found one or two varieties. Cashier - very helpful and friendly and no mistakes at the register - which is a danger when buying 30+ singles. A must if in the Milwaukee area.

Iíve been here numerous times over the years but I never really paid that much attention to the beer aisle until this visit. Usually I would buy a sixer or two and be on my way. The selection of Belgian and foreign beers here is excellent though Iím not sure how well they sell since many of them were covered in dust and had old dates on them. I picked up a few Unibroues I hadnít seen before. Pretty good selection of domestic six packs too, though very little sold as singles. I guess Iím too darn hooked on build your own six packs that it seems to be my number one focal point of a liquor store so I didnít even notice if the prices were ďdiscountĒ as the name would indicate. Service was ok, asked if I needed help.

Terrific place...probably the best overall selection Iíve seen in Wisconsin. Not much to look at, and everything is under fluorescent lights, but the turnover seems high and new stuff appears every time I go (which isnít often as I live in VT!). I managed to get quite a few things that I never saw in Chicago on my last trip, like the Leeís barrel-aged series. Must-stop in SE Wisconsin.

I do have to admit that I was disappointed. Sure they have a nice selection of belgians and locals, but most the local beers are only sold as 6 packs. Major bummer for an out of towner looking to score a bunch of singles. I was able to buy 4x the amount of singles at Breeze-Thru Wine & Spirits.
