I mean, Iím pretty sure the staff here is friendly and helpful...if youíre interested in wine. There is some nice stuff to be found, although ages of the bottles is questionable to say the least; they are the only spot in town that has ever carried Brewdog to my knowledge, but the bottles of Dogma they have expired over 6 months ago...

Rating for beer only. They donít have the biggest selection but carry a lot of good beer. A little pricy compared to other places, but you can buy beers in singles, which is awesome. If I factored in their wine, booze and deli into this beer rating it would be a lot higher.

Dornís is great for anyone who wants to try something new. If they donít have it, theyíll order it or even show you where to go online to order it yourself, if they canít get it. Super nice guys, and awesome stock of beer, wine, and liquor. Prices: Average

Stopped here a couple times now on my way through Gainesville to Orlando. The beers are an eclectic mix and definitely arenít the focus (wine takes up most of the space). They did have a few of the Hoppin Frog bombers along with the scattered usual crafts we get in these parts. None of the Cigar Cityís though - which was mainly what I was hoping for.

I checked them out during a run to Gainesville from Jacksonville, fl. it is in a shopping center and tad hard to find. Its mostly a wine and cheese shop. The cheese though is fanatic, and I would recommend if your flush and hungry this is the place to go in Gainesville for cheese.
The beer selection is not that good, but I did fine some gueuze gems that made it worth the trip. Prices are a tad higher than I like but not super bad.

Dornís is a wine / beer / market... the store is not incredibly large... most of the store is focused on wine. They do have half an aisle devoted to beer and a few coolers. There is the typical macro offerings mixed in with a good selection of various craft beers and imports from Belgium. They allow you to buy single 12 oz bottles, but they price the six pack 1 x 6. So the Anchor Old Foghorn was going for roughly $18 for a six pack, which is ridiculous. I did find some Cigar City 750s there, which is why I went to Dornís. They had Marshal Zhukovís Imperial Stout, Guava Grove, Improvisaciůn (Oatmeal Rye India Brown Ale), and Bolita Brown... they were ~$12 each which is about $3 more than at Total Wine. They also carried some Avery (but not their demon series), Dogfish, Great Divide, Hoppin Frog, and others... most standard Belgians were available in 750ís. Good store to stop into when in Gainesville, but expect to pay a bit more... I havenít made it to any other stores in town.

Sells wine, liquor, and beer, with a solid selection of each. Staff is knowledgeable about beer, and their monthly beer tastings are great and well-attended. Mix-and-match sixpacks with just about any beer they sell. Best place in Gainesville for getting craft beer that I know of.
