I visited this brewpub on a weekday afternoon and there were only a few people in the bar. They only offered their own brews, but the 2 that I had were both excellent. One of the owners was behind the bar that afternoon and offered an interesting perspective on the difficulties of being a brewer in Oregon. Nice place, nice people... really good beer.

Your generic small town brew pub, meant for the locals nothing really special on tap. Friendly staff, nice outdoor seating.

My wife and I stopped in here for a couple pints. It was very busy the night we were here and got lucky to get a table. We were only having drinks so service was pretty quick. The drinks were good and the pizza looked amazing. You can see some of the brewing equipment thru some glass doors. Not much to say, really. Good beer and a good atmosphere. Iíd come back.

Stopped in for dinner and a beer while passing through town. Great location across the street from Logsdon. Very busy restaurant type setting. Sat in the restaurant portion myself. Very cool decor including bottle cap art and vintage beer cans. Everything I wish I had on my wall. Extensive tap list of their wide variety of brew. Our server was excellent, and knew everything there was to know about the brewery and beers. Wish I remembered the name. Was able to get a couple limited release, rare bottles to go, at a very fair price. Nice to go here and try some DM beers that I never see back home. Pizza was great. Beer was great. Would love to come back.

Have been wanting to go here for a while, already familiar with their beers, and was not disappointed. Heard from others they get busy but 2pm on Wednesday was plenty of space. Here for the pizzas--thin, crisp but not hard, the slightest char, quality toppings. Several good beers consumed at the table. My favorite the Chaos reigns imperial stout--zam! Add in super service from beautiful people and what could be better.

Visited on a Thursday. First, let me say the expansion of Double Mountain is much appreciated. It used to be small and cramped, forcing people to drink in a small garage. The addition makes this place feel much, much more professional and thought out. Service was quick and good, some of the best Iíve had in Oregon outside Les Caves. Taplist is extensive with most of the house brews available to slake the thirst. The pizza is amazing. One of the top three places Iíve had in the state. Wish there was a view of the Columbia, but ah well, canít have everything, right? Recommended. Eat at Joeís. Err, Double Mountain.

Stopped in for a few beers on a Thursday evening. They had a band banging out some good covers. The four beers we had were $5 each (VALUE). The bar service with excellent, especially for a fairly busy night. They had at least ten on tap with a few more in bottles. Well worth the time.

Located in downtown Hood River, Double Mountain had not long expanded its premises on my visit at around 4.30pm on Friday 24/05/13. The small front bar, the original facility, leads you to a much larger back room split across 2 levels with some outside patio seating. The brewing equipment is visible through a window, 8 beers available, 1 via cask dispense. 5 beer taster can be acquired and 5 or 6 bottles were available to go, but largely (if not all) their standard offerings that were already on tap. Service was good here, the guy new his beers and was over to pick up another order before our glasses had run dry. House beers were OK - no world beaters but decent enough. Worth stopping by if in the area.

This is a large place on several levels, really more of a restaurant where the pizza is the thing. Brewery isnít really noticeable. Beers are just OK.

Multi-room restaurant and bar. Seating for maybe 120 people at tables inside and a few outside. Highly ceiling, open-beams. A bit dark on a sunny day. Bar seating for eight people. Brewery area visiible through large glass doors & windows. Very friendly, loose atmosphere. 60s & 70s rock and country rock on the sound system. Fairly crowded on an early Thursday mid-summer afternoon. Wide variety of customers: young and older, families with young kids playing around the tables. Most of the beers are hop heavy (which they do well), along with some more experimental brews (not as well). Had a tasty sandwich, though pizzas are really the main thing here. Taster trays: five beers with variable pricing (regulars are $1.75 per glass, and seasonals or specials are from $2.75 to $3.50 per glass). Across the street from Full Sail.
