Gas station themed. Killer pulled pork sandwich but don’t get the fish. Dcent beers from time to time.

It looks like a converted gas station. Southern feel. Decent greasy food. Ok selection.

Go for the food and to people watch. Best if you like old filling stations.

OK, I’ve been here a couple of times but never really thought of it as a beer geek’s place: yes, there is interesting memorablia all round because it is built in an old gas station; somewaht like you would see at Quaker steak and Lubes around PA. I guess they do have a ’decent’ selection of beers here but its nothing out of the ordinary. However, the food is of interesting variety and they do have vegan stuff too. Parking on the street with a parking meter or around the block off the main drag in the residential area.

I’ve been to the Double Wide a few times while visiting Pittsburgh in the summer. Very cool open air setup during those warmer months. Good burgers, broad selection of solid to excellent beers. Service was excellent. Good times.
