Pretty good selection of beer however, some have been sitting for a while. The inch of dust on the bottles gives that away. Plus some winter seasonal’s where floating around in the coolers. If you grabbing higher ABV bottles you are fine, if you’re looking for local lower ABV be careful. The staff helped my buddy find a few bourbon’s he was looking for and then directed us to a place that had it because they happened to be sold out. If you’re in the area give it a shot but really nothing to go way out of your way for.

Large wine store with a pretty extensive beer selection and a tasting bar in the back. Prices were mostly on the high side, but some stuff (ie 8 Wired) was reasonable enough. Only a block from Redbones, so worth a stop on the way in or out.

We stopped in here on Saturday night on the way home from ACBF for souvenirs. Nice selection of brews available for sale tucked into the back end of the liquor store. Lots of great micro labels to the left with world offerings to the right. I was able to find some nice items to take home with me. Service seemed no existent, but I really wasn’t in need of any. Seems a bit pricy even by Boston standards. I would go back if I was in the area, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to shop here.

best selection of any store in boston, but also the most expensive. $44 for drie fonteinen Schaerbeekse kriek, $6.70 for orval. popped in here the other day looking for a 2006 drie fonteinen doesjel 750ml. the great thing about this store is they had it, and probably no other store in boston did at the time, but it was $36 so i ended up scrolling past anyway. nice to know it is there though...

Best Store to buy craft beer in Cambridge/Somerville. They have hard to find beers from all Craft and imported craft suppliers. Their import section is one of the best in MA. Also, they carry a large number of artisnal spirits.

Large selection of micros in six packs as well as large format stuff. Lots of floor space dedicated to beer. Prices are decent for the area. Staff is always around to help, but not overbearing. Good bottle shop. One of my favorites around Boston.

An rather good store close to Redbones. Good mix of local, US and rare imports, with slightly inflated prices overall. Possibilty of buying singles. Free parking is available, which is a plus.

Stopped in here after dinner in Davis Square; this place is about 2 blocks from the square. Beer selection is in the back aisle (foreign) and back left corner (domestic). Nice range of foreign stuff, good regionals (McNeil’s, Ipswitch, Pretty Things, Nantucket, Southampton, Brooklyn, Smuttynose, and so on), and some surprises from elsewhere. I didn’t expect to see 6 different Bruery beers, Avery Black Tot, and a few other things along those lines. Looks like a regular liquor store upon entry, but there is some cool stuff here and I recommend it if you’re in the area. Prices are higher than what I pay in the Cincinnati area, but that might have to do with the higher cost of living or local laws.
