Beery pub just north of the city centre but easily walkable. There is a good pub atmosphere in this well run establishment, the beers largely centre around the Little Ale Cart offerings, but that is a good thing down in this neck of the woods. Comfortable and warm, we were able to enjoy the patio area on this visit. There is a good hum of conversation. It remains my favourite Worcester pub.

I visited this place in 2005. after a jaunt to Worcester races with my ex g/f and mates Nick, Matt and Pete. Pleasing range of beers on hand pull, and a nice, respectful atmosphere. Especially funny was the notice on the wall prohibiting certain topics of conversation. Nice íproperí pub.

Visited in May 2009. City centre pub with a pleasant seating area to the rear. Widest range of beer we found in the city. The Little Ale Cart connection meant that there were a few of their beers on. Unfortunately I think we caught the landlord on one of his grumpier days that Gazza alludes to. Plus the locals clustered round the bar seemed to think it was some sort of invasion of their personal space to want to get close enough to the pump clips to see what they were. So, although the beer range was better here, the Plough was a rather more enjoyable overall experience.

Visited on 30 May 2009. Good choice of ales ( 3 Little Ale Cart, 1 Cannon Royall and some guests from Skinners and Mighty Oak) served efficiently and in good condition. A bit quiet mid-afternoon on FA cup final day, but the courtyard out back was pleasant to sit in. Beers were keenly priced from £2 to £2.40. Well worth visiting.

Great place that I get to whenever Iím over to see my dear olí maí or whenever Iím over for the footie. Always a good selection of beers on offer and not too many other distractions. Short walk from the town centre but well worth it to try one of the best pubs in Worcester.

Strange place; itís been a real ale pub for around 20 years but the current owner (also owns Cask & Cutler in Sheffield) bought it around 2000 and has improved the beer range immensely - just be aware that heís a proud "grumpy old bastard" and donít rile him by ordering lager or asking for beer with no hops in it!. Good beer range and ideal for Worcesterís curry mile.
If you ask very nicely, the pumpclips stuck on the wall behind the bar are the next beers on and, if itís quiet, you might get a cellar run... maybe.
