I just visited Belgium for the first time and I was really wowed by this place. amazing selection of beers from all over the world. I found many Belgian beers here I had never seen before. Got a chance to talk to the owners and their family and everyone was very helpful and fantastic. No trip to Belgium would be complete without visiting this store and purchasing some rarely found beers.

As i live nearby the ’hopduvel’, i went never before to Geers. Charming chaos and some smooth talking with one of the owners. Very likeable place.

Very nice store, enormous collection of beers, lots of imports as well nowadays (USA, NZ, Italy, UK, ...), very knowledgeable staff, what more do you want? Shared 1st place with De Hopduvel in the Gent region and the whole of Belgium for that matter.

What a world class place. This was by far the best shop in Belgium. Hard to finde if you don’t have a car, but it is all worth the drive! About 63 Km outside of Brussels. The place is great, the shop owner greeted us and asked where we were from. Then started helping us out with the beer list that we had. Even made suggestions on the way. The staff helped out as well with picking out beers from our list. Packed our goodies in cardboard boxes for the drive home to Denmark. A must if you have the time! Owner ended op giving me The original Eylenbosch Gueze - vintage 1986! Thanks very much, I will be back one day... ;-)

Stopped in on a recommendation from the owner of the Cafe Red Rose in Bruges. I was really overwhelmed by the selection and as an American (living in Europe) I was blown away at the great prices versus what we pay for Belgians in the US. The owner’s daughter did a fantastic job of describing the beers and making suggestions. Her English is really great as well. It was a fantastic experience and well worth the stop...I will be going back any time I am near Belgium. Unlike some on ratebeer, I am not a very knowledgeable Belgian beer connoisseur so I cannot comment on the rarity of brews they have, but it truly felt like an endless selection. Seemingly nice glassware as well. Was able to use an EC card.

Unbeatable selection of (extremely) rare and more common beers. Prices are reasonable and owner is very helpful. Only problem is that you are overwhelmed and must make a selection which beer you carry home. Relaxed atmosphere.

A great beer store that has become a regular stop for my drives into Belgium. Very good selection with new additions all the time. The family that runs it is very friendly and helpful - I always appreciate their help when I am there. Last but not least their pricing is very good and my visits don’t hurt the wallet too much. Highly recommended.

Simply one of the best beer stores I’ve ever visited. Too bad it’s far away from where I live now, try go get there twice a year. They always surprise with rare beers from obscure breweries. Staff is kind of hit or miss, the people who just work there, well they just work there and gladly accept your money. Try to talk to one of the owners and they’ll help you with everything you need. Once the owner went digging in some boxes in his warehouse to look for a certain vintage I was looking for, and much to my surprise he sold me a whole box of it. The passion these people put into their job is unseen in Belgium. You go family Geers, cheers to all of you!
