Pretty nice bottle shop. Very nice selection. Pricing on the local stuff is good (except for Cantillon and 3F stuff) but the imported ones are a tad expensive. The staff I encountered weren’ that knowledgeable though. Asked for Cuvee Delphine and he said it was sold out, after browsing the store I found a couple of cases...

Visited about 2 times/year 2012-2015. In recent years, this no-nonsense, well-chilled drinks market along the Coupure has been complementing its representative range of Belgian breweries with a focus on local West- and East-Flemish breweries with a thoughtfully catered international selection of foreign fare brewed at De Proef (Mikkeller), as well as De Molen, Emelisse, and growing selection of new IT, US and NO imports. Good prices for EU and most US imports, fair for more common BE singles. Lambiek/geuze is a bit more up to date and better grouped at Geers, but service is attentive, on-the-case and helpful where needed. Recently had great service here due to a formerly very active RBian. Interesting commissioned/coop brews with De Molen and their own, okayish Hopduvel beers.

A lot of great beer available at very reasonable prices. Also a bunch of rare American beers you don’t really find anywhere else.
Great shop and place.

Classic Ghent beer shop founded by the brother of the man who started the namesake café at Rokerelstraat in the eighties. Their range has evolved a lot throughout the years; ten years ago, I was already impressed by their selection of large, rare Belgians, nowadays they added a very eclectic range of foreign beers as well. Prices are on the high side, but this does not bother me if I can purchase Dark Lord or Speedway Barrel Aged here... Very friendly and helpful staff too, and they also deliver at home nowadays. Remains one of my favorite beer shops in Eastern Flanders.

Good place to visit when you’re in the Ghent area. Was rather on its peak a few years ago. Now it’s clearly surpassed by place like De Coninck, DeCaigny and Geers. I’d recommend going to one of these instead. Nice selection of foreign brews though. Selection of lambieks isn’t that impressive. Ignace, the guy responsible for the beers, is a very friendly guy and if you need any advice, ask him, he’ll be able to help you out!!

Nestled away in a side street in Ghent lies this beer behemoth; its shelves overflowing with many and various beers! All the best beers from Belgium, Holland, USA, some British beers and beers from beyond are here.
The sour selection is vast!
Not only will you find beer here but enough materials to start brewing there and then!
I had arranged a visit through BoBoChamp and he was extremely hospitable and walked round the shop assisting and generally easing the agonizing pain of choice.
The man goes above and beyond to bring people good beer and that shows.
Picked up Focal Banger and The Crusher on my visit - not many people can say that about a beer shop in Europe!
The prices were fair; if not excellent!
Will go back again whenever time/opportunity allows.
