Great range of Belgian and foreign beers, really impressive.

Visited this Sunday morning. Spacious hall with loads and loads of beers from mostly Belgium, US, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands. Prices are good for the abroad stuff, Belgian beers are a bit more expensive than what I’ve seen in for example Leuven, but still very cheap compared to prices in the Netherlands (or Bruges, where I was the day before). Had a nice time strolling around, looking for some good unrated beers, but had a hard time refraining myself not to fill my car to the brim. Great shop.

I’ve been to a lot of places, and this is the finest, most extensive, bottle shop I have yet to patron. Screwy hours, but the selection is worth the time to travel to Gent. Epic floorplan that is overwhelming. Only having room in my suitcase for two bottles and walking into this place was torture. Fair prices from my perspective. The only thing they could possibly do to make their selection better is to offer more vintages for some of the bottles, but that’s being exteremly picky. Workers were antsy to leave for their siesta and started turning the lights off, but otherwise world-class experience. Thank you!

Amazing place with ample private client parking right outside. Staff very friendly and helpful. So many beers, so many imports! I spend WAY too much money here but it’s always with pleasure!

Disappointing visit, well short of expectations. Several beers advertised on web-site not available. Was at Geers before and they have superior range and better prices.

been there 2 times ( way to less, i know) . in belgium, there are only 2 shops that REALY matter. this and geers. (both ghent) so lets compare just these. hopduvel had more american stuff ( less belgian i guess, ) but do not have the cantillon specials. for belgian people , though, i think this is more special. ( some things you can only get here, special things from geers are gettable if you do much effort ) so, for american beers, go here ! they even have black tuesday, dark lord, darkness, chocolat rain ( not contantly, but this is the only place you’ll find it to buy ) the owner is very helpfull, very cool guy ( also oin RB as bobochamps , so he knows the latest evolvings on the beerscene ) they might be expensive, but thats becouse they are hounoust ( they dont rip people of where they buy their beers, they dont cheat on taxes) .. quite unique in this working buisness, let me tell you that ! too bad i dont live closer :)
